You're satisfied with only 90% huh? No thanks. It can never be 100%...99% is nice though.

As for the Machs that were running slow times I'll say bad drivers.. Mine ran 13.3's-13.4's stock.. I ran a few 12.2 with just an O/R X pipe, Magnaflow catback, built rearend with 4.10's, 17" ET Streets, and a little weight reduction.. I haven't been back to the track since I installed my headers, JLT RAI, and had it tuned.. So hopefully I'll be in the 11's N/A once I get back to the track..

I like the Mach I
I liked the Mach I since it came out. All the problems I had with my 03 Cobra left
a bad taste in my mouth when it comes for Fords. But I am sure some guys got
some decent running Mach's and Cobras. The blue Mach is really sharp. The
Turbo'd one is likely quite a beast. As for the comments about spending 30K on
mods. Hell if this is your hobby, its a free country ... spend all you want.

There's a mach 1(manual) down here at the 1/8 mile track, and he runs 8.30s-8.40's, which would transfer to low 13s??? 13s are pretty impressive in my book, for a stock car.

I worked at Ford and would actuall y bring my buddy in to drive for a laugh a GT. Wow, how do they sell em. Mach 1 little better through first at least, an LS1 pulls noticably stronger. Then a yeaor old red 03 Cobra that we could'nt give it away. $28,280 for a NEW 03 Cobra, could'nt sell em. Two of em. One inside one out on the lot. My sister drove it and it was a little stronger than a warmed up LS1 but nothing to write home about since it had a S/C. GT and Mach 1 were silly slow. I love mustangs but what has happened since 1994 .

Monte Carlo SS stickers for 29K (fully loaded 31.5K).......

SSR stickers 43K (fully loaded 50K)..............................
You see a trend here??? Ssssssslllooooowww and overpriced vehicles.... HIGH 14 sec "Super Sport" cars for nearly 30K. Maybe I'm just old, but to me I see nothing "super" or "sport" about any of those........
Sorry, but Dodge (RWD Hemi powered cars, SRT-4) and Ford (Mach 1, Cobra, New GT) have been stomping on Chevy ever since they killed the F-body in 2002............. What does Chevy have to offer???
In January I went to the L. A. Auto Show and saw Chevy was dropping a V8 in the Impala SS and Monte Carlo SS.... I was thrilled......... until I heard both cars were still going to be FWD!?!?!?!.......
WTF Chevy?!....
BTW, the very first time I saw a BONE STOCK Mach 1 run, it ran 13.4 @ 107..... Well within stock F-body range. Hell, the first time I made a pass in my SS, I ran 14.2 (13.3 - 13.5s after some practice)...... I'm sure there was a post on a Honda board somewhere saying "stock LS1s run 14s". It's sad to see the same thing going on here......
