good kill.
i am with you. Most people have a stock s2k and they think they can go and run all v8s. I have ran a bunch of stock Mustang GTs and I never lost. They are slow as hell for a v8. I will say what I always say. Not all of the s2ks are slow. When I drive around I dont try to pick a race but the damn Z28 and T/A guys always want to race??? Never is it a SS or a WS6. Like I said most are slow but some of you might get your *** handed to you one day.

my brother lets me drive his s2000 sometimes and it is a good car. i like how the rpms are up there like a bike. the v-tech kicks in at 6k and you shift as close to 9k as possible. it had hell of top end before he got gears put in it, and also it sounds like a bike with full exhuast(true single), no cats...etc. that being said it is a 4 cylinder and the ta is an 8 cylinder. best way to sum it up though he has only driven my car once and he has much respect for it.
just for the record anybody can call b.s. but stock i have seen my brother pull a 13.9 in the s. its really funny watching it launch, he would drop the clutch at 8k rpm just to stay in v-tech. got to www.bhamracing.com and there is some videos of him(redline) on the street(not the track). its pretty funny listening to the rev limiter bounce at 9.9krpm.

Yea, those damn Z28 and T/A guys... What's there deals huh? I guess the SS and WS6 drivers are not ruthless menaces lookin' for trouble like we are. Ya know, since SS's and WS6's are so different than Z28's and T/A's.

Lets see, the SS and WS6 is a little faster, not much. I just thought that it "might" be more fair if I was to race a SS. Yes I know all cars can be fast and you can spend $500 and make the Z28 as fast of more fast then the SS.

Please, 75% of the Z28s that I run into MIGHT have a Flowmaster. I have ran into 2 Procharged z28. One wanted to run till I gave his friend a ride, after that he said his clutch was bad and the other only wanted to run from a roll because he did not have his D/R. I am not sure how fast they are but he pulled me a 1/2 car at the start and @ 65-70 I had my 1/2 car on him. I am sure that are damn nice down low but why would someone want to run from a roll with that much Tq???

The only real difference between a ss and z28 is suspension and styling. Theyll pretty much be pacing each other in a race. And when a few mods are thrown into either car then it's pretty much just a modded ls1 in a different wrapper.

Besides, this is also the typical ricer statement. Not trying to talk ****, but i used to get this a lot from the rice crowd when my car was stock.

The SS has ram air right? It also has 30-40 more hp right? I thought that the Z28 has 285 and the SS 325. It is a matter of time before I get my *** handed to me. I try not to pick on 9 and 10 sec cars unless we are on the highway, they run out of gear alot of the times I sit here and read all of the " ohhh maaa goood, I lost to a 4 cyl." I dont understand that. Just because it has 1/2 as many cyl does not mean its slow. That is like me saying all V8s eat gas. We just got a 2005 Acura RL and that bitch eats 93oct like its .50 a gallon. I have never seen a V6 eat so much gas in my life??? But it does have 11 to 1 comp and has 300hp out of 3.5lts!

Nate, I am so far away from a ricer. That is like me calling you a redneck because you have a V8. I have see some RICED out Z28 around here. They are Pep Boys all of the way, even with the dragons!

all ls1 based were rated the same. ss doesn't have ram air, only the ws6 does. and although im sure it may add a little, i dont see it as being a 30-40 hp advantage. if anything it might give you .5 to 1 mph trap speed. dyno gains are obviously not going to be realized.

And all the ls1's from 97-04 are the same besides the exception of the heads (maybe 2-5 hp) and the intake (ls1 from 98-00, ls6 from 01-02) but is made up for by the slightly larger cam in the 98-00's.

Read the stickies in the internal engine section.

Good kill, but really, that's really unsportsmanship like conduct. Would you enjoy it if somebody waves at you after they smoke you?

On any given day a stock z28 or formula/trans am can beat a supersport or a ws6 car. But i would say that the extra money was well worth it for the hood/spoiler/wheels.

Oh well, that's what he gets for messing with a car he knows he can't beat. That's like me being stupid enough to race a Viper.

Also, he tried the typical ricer move and tried racing me when I wasn't even racing lol. If it was a fair take off then I wouldn't have done a thing...but he tried being a little bitch so I waved at him to **** him off
