I guess prices are Sky High in CA. I drove from MS to TX for mine about 400 miles. I got a really nice car that a girl drove. Not one modification was done to it.

Yea well I live in the bay area and prices are really high over here.1 bedroom apartments range anywhere from 800 to 1800 dollars a month. I bought a 2 bedroom condo and it cost me 285,000 dollars.

Yea well going waaaaaaay back to the begining of the thread, I have to agree with what wa said earlier about the Evo's.. I'm begining to think Mitubishi only sells them with boost controller already mounted. finding a truly "stock" Evolution today is the equivallent of seeing a picture of Michael Jackson holding a girls hand, sure it may exist, but who'se ever seen it?
There's a VERY good chance that Evo had at least the typical mods i.e. DP, exahust, EBC, AFC, which in of itself is good for another 30whp++, and that's being modest. Losing to an Evo isn't entirely a bad thing. I mean stock they're 100-102mph cars through the traps, not too far off a (stock) A4 LS1.
Time for some mods and go Evo hunting again..
There's a VERY good chance that Evo had at least the typical mods i.e. DP, exahust, EBC, AFC, which in of itself is good for another 30whp++, and that's being modest. Losing to an Evo isn't entirely a bad thing. I mean stock they're 100-102mph cars through the traps, not too far off a (stock) A4 LS1.

I said a stock Evo traps 100-102, obviously if we're dealing with modded Evo's, the traps will be (mod dependant) substantially higher. Such is the nature of OEM turbocharged vehicles, it takes ever so little, to get ever so nice results from them. 30whp is just an $150 AFC + $40 BC away for an Evo, that's an easy 104mph+ car which will put it right inline with a stock A4 LS1.

Found out later he had a forged/stroked big block with nitrous.
SO nothing could compare to that debacle. Yes he made quite the fortune street racing unsuspecting pony cars. It seriously looked like a farm truck. Oh and you should do some research on Houston track times. Sealevel elevation really does wonders, but yes it sucks during the middle of summer.....
