Modded WRX vs. T/A

Modded WRX vs. T/A Earlier tonight, a blue WRX wagon revs on me. There is traffic so we can't play. I see that he is turning right onto the service road of a highway, and that no one else is and dip in behind him. We line up about 45 and we get a good even start. I start pulling on him, and then realize that the road necks down to one lane. He also realized this and braked. Soon after we are on 2-lane road, and line up at about 35. I was in a quandary as to whether go down to first since it will rev to almost 50 in first, but I choose second. I start to honk, and he gets on it on the second honk. Even though he got a little head start, torque overcame turbo lag and we stayed even, then I started inching ever so slowly. Finally as my car starts really making power, he shifts. By the top of second there was about a car length between us, and by 95 there were 2-3 lengths give or take a few feet. I turn into a gas station and he follows. We chat for a few minutes, and the guy was totally cool. Pardon my ignorance if I butcher some of these, but he said it had up-pipe, down-pipe, turbo timer, exhaust, BOV and a few other things. He also said it was running stock boost at 14.5psi. It was a good-looking car!

Re: Modded WRX vs. T/A Good Kill! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" /> What do you have done to your car. I understand the WRXs can be a hand full when there modded.
