R1!
R1! this happened awhile back and i cant for the life of me figure out how it happened.to start with for the record i have someone else in the car with me so there was a witness.
i was driving down a local road and i come upon a brand new R1.damn it was pretty.anyways,after a lil screwing around we come to a light thats know for being wide open and little traffic past it at certain times of the day.so the light turned and we both just rolled out and when we hit 30 we both punched it....now mind you ive got a small cam(LPE GT2-3) usual upgrades and boltons and a 125 wetshot.we went from 30-130 and believe it or not by the time we finished he had a carlength on me.i couldnt believe it myself nor could the passenger.damn i wish i had a camera.now ive told the story to a few people and some race buddies believed me but the majority told me no way.anyone can explain this cause i was really suprised i hung with it.
p.s. the owner of the bike definitely knew what he was doing and how to drive it.

if he isnot full on it from the very first moment and try to hold it down(ie,not wheelie)and shortshifts,then that outcome is possible.
but i seems like there are many,many bikers with no skill out there.dont want to bash your car,but a r1 is a high9s,very low10s bike and traps @ 140-145mph STOCK.mph should indicate who will win from a roll.
do you trap 140mph+?

yep.own a busa and know what happens with 400-500rwhp cars when i race them.or even when friends on them 600ccs race them.and know that a r1 can hang with a busa till 120mph.
it takes a WHOLE LOT MORE!!then 500rwhp to keep up with a bike that traps 140+mph.

didnt want to offend you guys.im a former ls1owner myself and recently visit this forum.i had to post since bs was getting DEEP here.
i agree with you guys,a kill is a kill,and of course,a bike is as good as his rider.

who are you? is mommy? and yes, i probably will bust his ***** when he starts crying that a bike got beat by a LS1. LS1 owners have a right to get excited when they beat a bike...because the BIKE should win...in most cases. but thats the fun thing about racing, you dont need to be the fastest guy to win. i guess a better title should be "I beat the driver driving a R1" because thats what he actually beat.

i just wanted to mention how RIDICOLOUS it is to think a 400whp car can hang with a r1.
for example,a r1 traps 140mph in the 1/4mile.at least.a 400whp ls1 traps bout 115,lets say 120mph.
now if someone would say he killed a 98viper(traps 120)with his stock s2000 honda(they trap a hair under 100mph),what would you guys call?
i just want to make clear how bad that rider sucked at riding that r1.
for those of you who have got no clue,i strongly hope you guys run into a literbike or bigger with a good rider.you will experience a whole new level of assraping.not even a race is no description for what is going to happen.
dont be too suprised.i dont mean all ls1people.i mean those with mods and the believe that theyre bike killers.thats it from me.EN GARDE!!!
