I was out the on Sunday, the first time in a while. I was on vacation with the Marines. I had my daughter in the car with me. She is only 10 and I DO NOT RACE with her in the car. I pull up next to one of those Eclipes GSX thingies or whatever. He has the Furious **** thing going, with all the stickers and wing. He revs at me. I look over and start laughing and give some revs back. He revs again and I put my hand to my ear and start laughing again, while I rev right back at him. He revs louder and I point at him and laugh. My daughter starts getting into it and she is pointing and laughing. I then start white smoking the tires next him pointing and laughing. The guy gives me the finger and when the light turns green he tears off. I just take off normal. My daughter said " He just does not have a clue does he"

Only my mom had a few -gasp- mustangs!! she a 67 289 engine was blueprinted, bored and stroked, 3/4 race cam, posi trac rear end etc etc...i cant remember all of the crap..but anyways..i'd ride with her when she raced it...and i loved it. That's what got me started in racing. But i was younger than your daughter...i was 6 or 7. but once it's engrained into your blood..you cant get it out..and now i own my own and slowing modding it <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> she'll be out there with the few, but proud, female fbody drivers kicking the boys' asses <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

According to her she has dibs on it when she turned 16. I told her that I thought a 400+hp car was a little much for a 16 year old with no driving experience. She then told me she had 6 years to learn how to drive it.
