Well guys I recently raced an old Buick Regal(355 converted to a 400) with slicks and beat him by a car and a few feet...My car is a SS with all bolt ons, Vig 3000 and WE BOTH had slicks...Needless to say hes pissed <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> So were gunna race in 2 weeks for money <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" />

Now hes adding a 200 shot and 456 gears. IM adding MTI S2 Heads/X1 Cam and 125 shot..Who do u think will win?? How much should I bet?? Im pretty sure thats all hes doing an insider has been letting me know whats going on...What do u guys think <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> Any input is appreciated <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

 

If you have the right gearing and can drive your *** off, you should win fairly convincingly, but DO NOT underestimate the other car! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

unless he has great suspension and some very sticky tires, if he has 4.56 gears and sprays a 200 shot off the line he'll run a mid 15 at about 110!!!

about a 3.5 60 foot time!!

run him off the line and tell him you're spraying so he makes sure to juice it off the line and spin his tires for a while LOL

Well guys this will be at the track. 355 converted into a 400 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> is exactly what I thought but thats what one of his friends said so i just said ok <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="gr_emb.gif" /> Anyway be both are going to have slicks but i have to wait a little while longer, my car was supposed to be out on Friday(March 14) but they called and said it would MAYBE be out on Wednesday of next week <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> I cant wait anymore! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

 

your car will haul major ***. with the nos you'll be dynoeing close to 550 hp to the ground , more than enough for 10's. you'll leave him and never look back.

Did you race that guy yet.

Well guys I told him that I didnt want to race bc I was hitting my Rev Limiter and only had 100 shot(Which I did) but he lined up in back of me anyway <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> And knowing I was only spraying 100 shot hitting the limiter, he asks if we want to run for money <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Anyway: I let off bc I almost hit the guard Rail(went to the side) so I managed an 11.4 to his 11.2(I think he sprayed even more than a 200 shot, I heard 225). BUT, I made a pass after that and managed an 11.0 with 100 Shot! Next week Ill race him with 150 shot and smoke his ***..He was getting TOOOO Cocky at the track u should have seen him.

I think he saw me run the 11.0 on 100 shot and he left, so Ill see if he shows next week which he probably wont <img border="0" alt="[evil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />

 

be humble and say you're still only running a 100 shot and having engine gremlins .

put 500 on the race and sssssssssmoke him!
