...heres a few random pictures of my 91 vette that all you guys on here helped me get the ls6 swap done on. Thanks to all, its mostly done, i have a few things to redo. Pretty much a dossile daily driver that is dead reliable.....nothing is stripped in any way, power everything, cd player /w amps everything..... Gotta be comfortable enough to see my g/f to the grocery store in it. (its actually her car, i just kinda took over on it)

My car is full interior, 5-pt roll cage /w removeable door bar, weighs 2900lbs with me in it (i love aluminum block/fiberglass car). Im hoping for 9.50 ET's with 20 mpg (keyword is hoping, its more like praying)

Wiseco Forged pistons, Eagle rods, stock crank, Lingenfelter CNC ported heads, TR 227/230 Cam, LS6 intake, Longtube headers, TH350 /w 3800 converter, Dana 44 /w 3.07 Gears, 28x13.50 ET Streets, TNT F2 300 rwhp nitrous kit. The car is around 700 rwhp now...

Mines the yellow cowl hooded c4. All these pictures are from the street races (main use for the car)

Sweet vids!!!!! Dunno if you noticed but you posted 3 of the same videos with different explanations. If those exist, we would like to see those to. Thanks. Also, It was hard to tell, did you take that bike.....it looks like you did. The sound of his bike makes one realize how fast y'all are going!!!!!!

Well say your friends car weighs 3300 lbs, and mine weighs 2900 lbs (2700 without me)

Swap to a aluminum blocked LS1 motor (theres 200 lbs). So now his car weighs 3100 lbs.

K, i removed the A/C because its just plain annoying stuff in the engine bay, along with smog pump stuff, condensor and the a/c box. Theres 80 lbs. so now hes at 3020

Put some Weld Prostars on the car with front skinnies from the stock 17's, theres another 60 lbs. hes at 2960. My cowl hood lost me 20 lbs from thinner fiberglass where the scoop is. spare tire delete as well as bullet mufflers with dumps another 30 from not much exhaust.

so hes around 2880. Swap to 85 non-abs brake system and goto a TH350 tranny, theres another 60 lbs. So his car is the 2820 range. .....

Im still suprised myself at how light its gotten. Soon as i change a few little things i will be down to about 2600 lbs without me in it without any stripping. and around 2800 with me

Cool car, a local guy here has a 88 C4 with a 406SBC with EFI (TPI?) and nitrous and goes 10.7 NA and 9.80 on the gun...

Sorry I forgot to ask you a question. If that car is full weight (all the options retained) Then how does it weigh 2900lbs with you in it. My friend has a 94 C4 and it was mid 3,3xx lbs with him in it and quarter tank of gas. You have a rollbar in there as well....can you shed some light on the subject. p.s. His spare was not removed yet, but that can only account for about 30 lbs. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

Well seeing he replaced the rods and pistons he could have increased the cubes at the same time lowering the compression for the 300 shot. Also there are alot of head/cam cars making over 400 rwhp. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I'm sorry but your car doesn't look like a 9 second car to me.

This is in regards to you beating a Chevelle that runs 9.8's

Not saying your car isn't fast , just doesn't look 9 or 10 second fast. looks like a 12 second runner to me.

That bike sounded like a 500 cc bike, or a moped on steroids.
