I'm sure you still would have won, but wasn't that race in traffic? Looks like he had to hit the brakes and get in your lane.

Yeah, he let off for a car, but that was after I started pulling him. It's not like he was going to come back.

well, before I begin, good kill! You've got a sick car!@

That viper seemed BONESTOCK though, why put mods unknown?? It had 151 miles on the odometer, temp. tags, and still had interior mats.

Oh well, good kill regaurdless.

Umm, how do you know all that? 151 miles? Are you sure? I'm pretty sure he said it had 900 something miles. Just so you know, I didn't video tape it, I wasn't in the area, I was talking to some other people when my friend videotaped everything so I don't know much of anything about the viper. All I know is he wouldn't run me last Saturday night. He wanted to wait a week before he ran, so who knows why.

Nice kill, and as for "mods unknown" seemed like he must have had something considering your mods he kept well. I would have liked to see a better run though, that was short! Either way though, I bet after talking **** he loved seeing your taillights

Yeah, I would have like a good run too, but that was the best I could get out of him. He did have to back out for a car, but that was after I clearly pulled him. Every other time we ran, the outcome was the same. I start pulling on him, then he shuts down early. Oh well. Maybe next time.

It seemed more like of a music video for 50 cent..the first 2:30 minutes were pretty pointless. And that race was really short,,but as you already mentioned there was traffic and he wouldn't race again.

That's a nice vette.

They are stock SRT-10 rims.

They are 275/35ZR18's in front, 345/30ZR19's in back, IIRC.

FWIW, a STOCK SRT-10 runs mid/upper 11's at high 1-teens to low 120's.

The outcome of the race looked VERY accurate as to what a STOCK VIPER would run against a mild blown C5.

Oh, I know that it is a stock SRT-1o for MANY reasons.

Sure. Now... switch lanes; put the "blocking car" in your lane, and see if he can pull 8 cars on you just like you did on him. Bet he can....

Your kidding right? Watch the video carefully and listen. I told the viper guy we'll run them anyway he wants. Name your sweet spot. He said his sweet spot is 35mph. I started in 2nd instead of first so I can hook up, but I was at only like 3 grand. Thats no boost yet. The viper didn't back off until I was in 4th. I shift to 4th at over 110 mph. It may have seemed like a short race, but remember, fast cars get there pretty damn quick. All you guys who think the race was "too quick", ride in a fast car and see how quick a race goes down.
