Smile When will they ever learn?

A coworker of mine decided the greatest thing in his life would be if he went out and bought an SRT-4... Oh yeah? Can anyone see where this is going? I won't deny them their due at all, they have the potential to be a pretty massive car, maybe not this day-and-ages Supra (but close.) I asked him if he wanted to race. (He knows what I have and that I talk highly of it.) So he just looks down his nose at me and says. "Yeah, I'll race. I'm 4-0 though." Wow, I almost fell over. That's a mighty impressive record out considering he raced a "tricked-out" Civic, an Integra and late model Mustang GT. (okay for those of you keeping count I know that's not four but I can't remember right off the top of my head the forth one ;-)) I'm so stupid! lol. So it's set up by the end of the week, we'll get it done. A roll and a dig. I'm not too worked up. Just thought I'd give people something to look forward to reading... Either way. Win or Lose (:-/) It's going to be one for my record books.

you a4 or m6? either way you will destroy him.
if you are a4, avoid racing him from a 40 roll..... that may give him a chance to hang for a bit.
run him from 30 or 50 (bottom of 2nd and bottom of 3rd for him)

Smile Thanks for the advice.

Like the lead line says, thanks for the advice. He all ready has his stage III kit ordered and in route so as soon as he puts that on and I get my turbo put on and tuned that's when I'm expecting the real fun to begin.

this is all assuming he wont run you from a dig......
if he will, it will just be that much worse

That's exactly what we're going to do. This week we're going to do the "as is" (which I'm all ready a little ahead with the headers and such...oh well, sue me? :-D) Then we both go on vacation, and our cars should be set up for a second run at it by the end of the month. I'll be sure to keep everyone entertained... I mean posted ;-)

Speaking of which I just came back from Best Buy, and fell in love with a cammed car. I was driving down the highway nearest my house when a pewter trans am pulls up behind me. The entire time I'm thinking to myself, No way. This is goin' be good. Anyway, I have to put my engine where my mouth is so I floor it and take off. Okay, well take off being a figurative term. I hear his engine and it sounded almost heavenly. And we both went, I stopped around 120, and from there we both let off. I was at his back bumper by the time we stopped. I wasn't going to race him again, I knew I was outclassed... THIS TIME anyways. My only saving grace during the race was the fact that he was pulling but not by much. As mean as his car sounded I thought I was going to be buried. I did die. But I'll take a death like that anyday. AND THEN...

In the land of everything having to be equal and opposite on the return trip I escorted three cars. A 350z, a multi-colored older civic, and a multi-colored 2nd gen eclipse. The 350z was riding my *** big time. (Note to anyone out there, If you want to **** me off just ride my bumper unnecessarily.) I gave him a gentle little warning by revving my engine and pulling away. He didn't heed my advice. I slammed the gas down from about 55, and I don't think he knew what hit him. (not literally, I didn't crash into him!) The two ricers behind him followed me, so I was able to play **** on the ricer. It was good. I had fun. I had to get off an exit to go home but by that time they had given up their will to live, or drive, ya know somethin' like that ;-) All right. I'm out.

Ya gotta admit. Lotsa potential for little $$$ in those 20K Skittles. At least it's a Domestic Sport Compact and not a friggin' Honda.
