Surprised!!! I was on my way home from work and I noticed a 05GT as I entered the highway. Never having raced one I kinda got in front of him to see if he would play. Sure enough, we started getting on it. The first few times we went at it I took him pretty good but he kept letting off. There was quite a bit of traffic so we couldnt really get a good stretch of road. So finally we got a good stretch and punched it from about a 50 roll. Surprisingly enough, we were neck a neck. Neither one of us pulled away from each other. I signalled him to get off the highway and talk. Come to find out he had done his gears, intake, exhaust, pulleys and alot of computer tuning. Wasnt a kill but it was really fun.

I played with one on the highway Fri afternoon. I was running 75 when he came up running about 90. I got over and let him go by. After he got about 7-8 car lengths ahead I hit the gas and caught up to let him know I wanted to play. He took off and I pursued. My speedometer only goes to 120, so I have no idea how fast we were going. I stayed with him for about 2 minutes before pulling up beside him to let him know I could pass him if I wanted. I thought it would be more difficult to keep up with the new GTs on the highway.

I can't get the 05 'Stangs to play at all, but for some strange reason 00-04 GTs and even V6's with fart-cannons will attack.
My favorite is when 2 ********* in a V6 convertible with some faked-up dual exhaust came buzzing around me on the highway. Hillarious! Heavy, under-powered, zero-aerodynamics, speed limited. What a joke!
I'd love to spank an 05, but they just won't bite.

dont see quite why theres constantly so much stang animosity, but the 05's as far as i can tell are about on par with the ls1's, so this race is no surprise. sounds like a cool dude that you ran into, nice kill, death, or whatever it was..

I raced a 05 stang from about a 30mph roll, it was a short burst race but I started to walk away right from the start. They are so sweet looking though.
