It's post #47 in this thread?
I didn't have any calculations, because none were needed. you proved that i was correct when you posted yours.

I said 5 cars, you said 4.25 not inluding the length of my car (which i included).

yes it's post #47,but you edited out the rest of the post. I was telling the guy to take a look at a different THREAD that i started, the one a few threads down about me racing the 380 whp LS1 and the gsxr 600. The guy in the LS1 in that thread was the guy i knew.

True but G.M. advertised them with the added weight of a driver. If you can find the weights of a 98 Fbody in a mag somewhere and compare them to some of the weights of the cars people have had weighed. They do not add up.

edit: Can't find the post about this. Might have been on ls2.com

Regardless the weight and minute hp difference isn't going to double the car lengths.

Okayyyy, but this whole discussion was about your original calculations of the race ... which you are still saying were correct for some reason. Show me how your math solves the problem of a 40-110 mph roll race, and I will be impressed.

I didn't Prove a thing that you claimed. I showed that your first win of 8 cars was about double what it should be (4.1 cars) ... the second race of 5 cars was about right, and the last race where you said you won by 10 cars was most definately exaggerated, since the more probable result was around 4.6 lengths (again, double).

As far as I am concerned, I proved exactly what most of us have been saying the entire time. Either the results were exaggerated, you raced an LT1, or you raced an LS1 with a handicapped driver.

I've got the silver T/A he raced (not WS6). I spun hard until 60mph (bald Nittos), he took off and left me. Afterwards I found out he was running 25 pounds on race gas. That Evo is pretty quick. But I didn't do bad to have a sticking clutch.

wow this has been a big argument I'm not insulting every one but personally I dont think it was a ver good Idea to post that on an ls1 site it probably would've been better to keep that one to yourself in short the evo's a cool car and in a car you can't tell how many car lenghts you've pulled and people tend to over exagerate when they win. All I'm saying is can't we all just get along

I have the SOM SS m6 that this guy raced. Of course i was reluctant to race at first seein how i needed a new clutch (my friend had fried his 2 weeks b4) and i didn't want to run the risk of breaking it and have to leave it somewhere till it gets picked up, but i got talked into it. ill give it to him he's quick but that wasn't anywhere near 8 car lenths. even with me spinning there is no way those measurements are right.

ok

if you want to do this again, join up on www.hsvracing.com and there will be a thread there dedicated to you. We can meet up again this weekend and video tape the entire thing. Also, there will be multiple witnesses to tell exactly how many carlengths between us there are. My fiance who was riding with me when i raced you guys and pretty much agreed with me on the distance.

it's funny how the guy who drives the import can be the only one exaggerating. how typical.

How was I wrong? The guy you raced just came on here and said with a shitty clutch and spinning tires, he STILL wasn't behind by anywhere near the 8 cars you said ...

Maybe the import guys are the only ones who need to exaggerate?
