HEY IT WORKS!!!!!!!! I pulled beside an Evo8 at a light he on my drivers ride reved to 4000 nothing, then red lined nothing but a pissed off look from the guy. So a couple of lights passed me tailing behind him waiting for it. i get him on my passanger side(DAM BORLA!!) redlined it once it choked! he started it up I did it again dropped it down in gear and left him sitting back there trying to start it. Everyone needs to try this. Scaring an Evo to death! I knew my car could shake the ground and rattle windows but kill a car is funny.

 

OOPS! Yeah 8, viii is 8. sorry! Um I found more info on it apparently what they have to do is give the car more fuel on the low end and it will stop...maybe lol. I will try to get it on my cybershot and I will try to run a series of test like in front behind etc...lol

I own an 89 LX Notch 5.0 and I know it aint no LS1 (I know my place in the food chain) it's the best I could with the low money I gots. Thank god you guys leaked this, now I might be able to beat one of these silly looking cars. I love you guys. BTW I got a catless H Pipe and a MAC 2 1/2" cat(less) back exhaust, it's pertty loud above 3k so I will attempt to shut down one of these cars next time I see one. But there's one problem with this: how come this is the first we're hearing about it? I mean people have been racing evo's here in america for some time now and this is the first case? This is so funny though, how embarrassing that your car just turns itself off when a louder, better sounding and looking car comes near. Guess thats what they get for buying a mistubishi- best backed cars in the world huh?

I have a 72 camaro with 3 inch piping and racing dumps and even when adjusting timing and idle, I've yet to get my Evo to stall or miss.

The thread is still on the boards as well, try hitting the little blue "2" at the bottom for the second page to find the post.

I see a whole lot of spew coming from folks with cars that can't even break 13 in the 1/4, Evo or not you should learn your place.

if you are trying to tell me that your Evo is the "next step up", you really need to go back to your *** forum wherever it is and get your MAF fixed. And by MAF I mean MASSIVE ASSFACE.

 

It's just funny, I can finally put a face to the morons that rev their engines at BOTH my 72 camaro and my Evo 8 then gun it at a light into a parked car, into a waiting speed trap my Valentine 1 was screaming about or into 30 mph residential zones in an attempt to kill children in mini vans.

And, edit to the above post, my MAF is fine. Although the Evo is the slower of my two vehicles, Im fairly confident that an 11.7 on C16 is plenty quick enough to hand you your ***.

I wouldn't even have to waste the gas to bring out my 72, at 4-7mpg it gets rather expensive to put children in their place with it.

So yes, for you my Evo is the next step up. And my 72 454 big block with open exhaust dumps, demon carb, , ceramic coated headers, 4:11 9 bolt with old fashioned posi love, etc, etc is a good hike up Mount Kilamanjaru for you.
