.
Eh, looks pretty dumb.
What's the point of racing if you're going to "give him lengths" .... makes no sense. One car is already admitting the other is faster, there's no need for a race. I also found it impressive that 2 speed shops can't make cars that are built to drag race a) go fast, b) not break.
May be good though.
Edit: Were they actually dropping arms as a start, instead of the tree?? And the host is a douche.

I agree it should be for money, and wtf is up with the giving of lengths? Thats totally bogus... if you wanna see who is faster, you line em up, side by side, have a ******* tree and go... It looked decent, I guess, but there seem to be a couple big flaws...

Guys I was part of one of the first shows that just taped in Orlando last weekend.
a) It isnt to see who has the faster car, it is a best of 5 races
b) The differences in cars are made up by giving lengths (Just like when you STREET race) except street racing allows for giving the guy the hit but they wont allow that on Pinks
c) The host actually is a pretty good guy
d) The host honestly has NO IDEA about cars. NONE. It is a trainwreck how little he knows
e) Yes it goes by him dropping his arms, just like street racing and yes it causes problems quite a bit (Watch my episode Shocker Motorsports) you will see what I mean by it causes problems.
f)It isnt meant to be a run what you brung hope you brung enough
It airs June 29th at 8:30pm on Speed. Speed is supposedly pushing this as the next "big" show and thus a prime time reality spot.
I also think you should be able to run for $$ say $4000+ that way some big boys will come around in "grudge" races like the **** talking on here but that isnt the way they have it set up.
There is an Fbody on one of the first shows and I believe from the Pink forum that it is Straightline performance (Sponsor on LS1TECH) running their LT1 powered Fobdy.
If you think the cars are all jokes like the ones in the webisode think again. There was a Real 66 Split Window Corvette with a 632 Big Cheif Big block and 2 stages of spray running 7.50's in the 1/4 against a blown and sprayed Nova. Both cars were BADDASS.
ELD Performance from just up the road from me was down there too with a SLEEPER of a Fox Body with a 400CI SBF on the juice that quite as a stock Fox body but was running in the 9's with no traction. Probably a solid 8.80 car on a good track.
Should make a good show depending on how much editing they do.
BTW I am the skinny white dude rockin the Shocker Motorsports shirt in one of the bike episodes drinking a cold one while staging my buddy and talking ****.....GREAT TIMES and you dont know what pressure is until you have the title on the line.

I would like to see some street style racing and if there are some F-Bodies then even more so. After all it will be more fun than watching some

Straightline Performance will be on the Premier episode on the 29th. We were there for the taping in Iowa, but you guys probably didnt see us because we didnt race till dusk.
It was cold that day.
Im not gonna say who won but I will say the guy we raced was the biggest BEOTCH, as you will see in the episode.
