Actually, average is 355 - 385rwhp based on the data I posted...not "around 360rwhp". I've always said that "normal" is 360-380rwhp.

I guess I've proven myself to be correct.

 

You are right, that 360-380 is "normal" but since 88% of the people had 355 or less rwhp, I could even more easily say 350rwhp is "normal." Instead I chose to post what I felt was the overall average as a single number and not a range and I still feel that saying average is "about 360rwhp" is an accurate statement based on my own research as well as the results you posted

cobras put down 360-380 rwhp stock. 05 gto put down around 340-350. Cobra will win given everything else equal. but i say make it fair and supercharge the gto so both are forced induction and see who wins

 

Since we're throwing around ricer excuses...the 'stang would need a 6.0L blown motor to "make it fair" against a blown GTO.

 

And 72% had 370 or LESS, so I think the average is more like 355-375, er 365......which for the record is still "around 360"

welcome to Earth. Glad you could join us! lol Just jokin. Yeah they're blown and can run 12.5s stock for sure. Ive heard fastest stock time was 12.4. My friend had one b4 he totalled it. It was bone stock and I drove it once on the track and turned a 12.6@111! I had never even driven it b4! I couldnt believe i ran that fast. Then my friend was pissed caused i ran faster than his time! In his own car! But yeah theyre bad

I think it's HILARIOUS how people freak on unit over the TINIEST little word he may, or may not, type!

Personally, I think people get "offended" by unit because some people are hatin' on the fact that he has a FAST Cobra on an LS1 site Big deal fellas. Fast is fast . . . no matter what kind of car it is.

I haven't seen him, unit, be overly malicious or biased in ANY way . . . I would say leave the guy alone . . . but . . .

I own a 2005 GTO and I drag race it... I can say without a doubt stock for stock the 03/04 Snake is faster. The CPU program GM put in the LS2 GTO is what is killing this car. The CPU pulls boatloads of timing at the slightest provocation and this car runs pig rich all the time. With LS2 edit being released very soon this shall be corrected. I am intentionaly leaving this car stock (It has been tough holding out for 5 months) just to see what a proper tune can do by itself. I feel that properly tuned the GTO will be on par with totaly stock Snake. Tune a Snake and it will be ahead of a tuned GTO... Oh well...
