LOL. This thread is hillarious....Dans car is a mach 1 with spray...To those of you that believe a Z06 rear suspension is somehow weak, or less than a capable that a mach 1?

You have a very cool car that runs good times, but it seems like you've been bragging about your times with the limited mods you have for a long time on here. i'm not trying to be a ******** but i completely agree with 300hp/ton and kbws6. peace out.

I guess some people are just to dumb to understand what a motor is on this site.. Hell I thought people were smarter then that but I guess not... Since when does nitrous have anything to do with making the motor it self non stock, It would still be a stock motor with nitrous, I don't see why that is so hard for some people to understand. The samething with different exhaust.. What is that thing under the hood that the exhaust bolts to?? O yeah its called a motor, just to let some of the folks here know what that thing is because some are lacking in that department..

I could've sworn there was intake and exhaust that come from an engine???? Wouldn't an exhaust system be considered a part of that engine using deductive reasoning?

If you bolt different wheels on your car does that mean your rear is not stock? Putting headers on a stock motor is still a stock motor...with headers. If you say your car is completely stock , then you are a liar. If you say your motor is stock, but you have bolt -ons that is fact. That's like saying your neck is connected to your head, so it must be part of your brain. I have also found some of the mach 1 guys post to be disleading....
It's a well known fact that F bodys are faster stock for stock than mach1's....
But only by a tenth or two on average..It is close..The mach one guys know that normally stock for stock the average f body is quicker than the average mach1.
So of course they will have there fastest guys come and post on the LS1 site...
You think the average mach 1 running 13.7 bone stock at sea level is gonna have the ***** to come to lS1 tech and talk about killin LS1's?
No....But the best of the best will...13.1 is respectable by any ones standards...Even if it was in the best weather you could hope for.
And yes they will be slightly disleading to have you think that there slightly slower Mach 1 wich usualy only trapps 103 mph (in good weather) is just as fast as your LS1 with minimal mods....
BUT THE EXACT SAME THING CAN BE SAID ABOUT SOME OF THE PEOPLE ON THIS SITE AND THERE F BODYS..
I dont know how many times Ive seen people try to prove to me how there F body is just as fast as a C5 or faster..
It is well knowned that the typical mn6 C5 will trap around 107-109 mph.
It is also well knowned that the typical mn6 F body will trap around 105-107 mph..
But there have been so many post of an F body guy claiming a high 12 or low 13 bone stock and saying that he killed a stock C5 that only ran a 13.2..
Then as you read on you find out that the bone stock F body had a CAI and exhaust....maybe some DR's to in a lot of cases....
But he chose not to list those cas the engines bone stock right?
Then the C5 guys do the same thing when they race a Cobra at the track and say they beat him stock for stock...
Forgettiong to mention there CAI....Wich was a VARARAM and good for 2-3 tenths on many C5's.....But hey it's just a cold air intake...It's still all stock.
We all find ways to make our car seam quicker than it is......
The mach1 guys were slightly misleading....But dont call them out on it just cas they own a crappy ford....Especialy when many of us do the same thing.

On the mustang sites I went to...Most mach 1's trapped 102-103 mph...There were a few in the 104 range and yours was the highest I saw at 105 mph....
No one would even turn there head if some one posted on the drag racing section that there bone stock down to the paper filter F body trapped 105 mph.

up to an untouched motor = a bone stock motor. Everything else of course would
be highly modified.
Example:
I have a friend with a '91 Fox 'Stang with a stock '03 Cobra longblock
and a single T-76 turbo kit that runs 150mph. The car is highly modified. However, the motor is stock...just like Ford built it.
