Supra Claims 600 hp?

Supra Claims 600 hp? A friend has a 1990 Supra, and he claims that he transplanted the last generation engine in it with the twin turbos. He claims the car puts out around 600 RWHP on 93 octane with a boost controller, tune and other supporting mods I cannot remember. The only thing is I thought you couldn't make that kind of power without going to a big single turbo on those engines.
Is his claim of 600 RWHP BS with the stock twins?
If he is making 600 how much of an asswhooping would he lay on me if we went from a dig to say 120 or 130 (I think he is an auto also but either way how would I fair if he knows how to drive)?
Mods in sig and the cam spec is 224/224 .578 if I remember correctly.
I put fresh Kumho 285 35 17 out back and I can launch without to much wheel spin(I do a slow dump around 4000 RPMS to hook up) and I can shift pretty fast.

Yea it sounds like hes full of it, because if he is making 600 rwhp on 93 octane then that thing must be detonating like crazy and the engine is on its way out. Still I wouldnt underestimate the race, because even if he is lying about the 600 rwhp he could still be 400+ rwhp with that engine so I say just race him and let us know what happens, good luck!

Stock Twins on a supra are good for a little over 500 rwhp with a standalone EMS, supporting mods and an awesome tune and race gas.
I would defiantely call bs on the 600 whp though.

I'm not a big supra expert, but even with a lot of power I've seen a lot of slow supras running from a dig. They are crazy at roll races once they have the powers, but from a dig... plus if he has an auto it's gonna be even worse from a dig...

By the way it's not the last body style Supra, it's just the engine from it in the second to last body style supra. Seems kinda pricy to me instead of just buying the whole car.

I cannot speak for this guys car sounds like hes talking BS. But i raced a supra a little while ago. Not sure which year but i know it was a fairly new one and it was a turbo in very nice condition. We were at the light and i was just itchin for it to turn green cause he was just as ready as i was and as soon as it turned green i hit it and by the time i was a quarter mile down the road he was like 8 cars back. It was almost no competition. I was pretty happy with the result! Id say race him!
