I have a 1991 Z28 L98(from a 91 vette) so 250 hp, 350 tq. The engine is bored .060 over with forged internals. My mods are Hooker Longtubes, No cats, flowmaster 40s, ported plenum, bbk TB, SLP CAI, 3.73 gears, and a 2400 stall torque converter. From my 1/8 mile time it converted to about a 13.7 in the 1/4 mile, with a lot of spinnage, but this race will be from about a 25 mph roll.

I will be racing a 1999 A4 WS6 with only Borla cat-back. I have messed around with a 1994 A4 Camaro that has an LS1 swap done to it and I thought I hung pretty good because I was behind him when he floored it and I kept up with him. I'm sure the higher speeds we get to the more screwed I'll be.

Do it from a dig with good tires and i bet you get him off the line. Do it from a roll at 25mph and i bet he kills you.

My times in the 1/8 mile are actually better than his I know that. He runs like 8.9-9.00's. He traps like 2 mph faster than me in the 1/8. I juts need to get a nice 150-200 shot already and call it a day. I've had this car set-up for nitrous forever.

Thats so weird because my friened had a 89 or so T/A with almost the exact same setup minus the forged internals and every time we raced it was a joke. I didn't even have my stall then and I'd walk him hard at any speed.

Dunno haven't been to the track yet, but I'd say maybe a very high 12 on these shitty toyos. Once I get there after winter I'll be H/C though.

You'll probably take him from a dig, but you will most likely lose on a rolling race.

Unless you've got some sort of small-mid TPI specific cam and ported runners, I think the LS1 is going to walk you. It's the killer of the pair.
