Funny story, I was driving around slowly not trying to get any attention from cops(which is a big deal in friday nights), and for no reason it passes me by like at 55mph. It was loud as hell numbing out my sound system. he cut me off, and that wa the last straw. So i pull next to him let him take off by a car punched it and never saw his tail lights again. I beat him by 6 1/2 cars. He either let off by the time he was 4 cars behind but I'm pretty sure he learned a valuable lesson. [COLOR=Red]DON'T MESS WITH AN SS[/COLO But i wished I had his black paint job.

 

BY the way I should add a mach 1 in mykills

 

if your stock you shouldnt walk a mach1 very hard. they arent that slow i dont think. like mid 13 sec cars i belive.

 

wouldnt suprise me at all that the mach got taken hard...it could have been an auto too which seems to be a bit slower

 

a mid to low 13 sec car isnt going to walk hard a mid 13 sec car. aand i eblive even the auto machs are mid 13's and have a much less chance messing up. 6 1/2 cars... to what speed mabe mabe to 120 mph. your not gonna beat one by 6 1/2 lengths in a 1/4 track. and their not that bad up top. their not an ls1 but 6 1/2 is kinda far. he probly let off the second he seen he couldnt pull on you. and honestly heh is their a such thing as stock mustang?

 

You gave him a 1 car head-start & then beat him by 6 1/2 cars in your stock LS1???

6 1/2 seems a little much if he was trying, 4 even seems high unless he was in the wrong gear from a roll, either way good kill. Musta been an auto

I usually stick up for LS1's, but damn. Theres no way a stock f-body is going to give a Mach 1 a head start, then reel him in and blow by him, putting 6+ cars on him. Thats some serious bullshit. It's so damn obvious the dude was not racing, why even bother posting the story?

 

The auto Mach's run more like high 13's on average. The manual Mach's have a higher redline and put more power to the wheels than the auto's.

P.S. My '02 GT is stock.

 

Yeah...not buying it. The mach revved at you and you blasted of like a damn import while he laughed at you and hoped you got pulled over.

 

6 1/2 cars ? Are you sure it wasn't only 6 1/4 cars ? Or maybe 5 7/8 ? It's quite a gift to be able to discern that last 9 ft of car at over 100 mph when he's BEHIND you lol !

i have a buddy with a c5 vette. im thinking its an 02-03. maybe an 01. its a manual and the only mod he has done is cut out the muffler and weld in a straight pipe. he raced my buddy who owns a 03 mach 1 and an auto. his mods are prochamber, flowmaster, and i think a predator and maybe an intake not sure. they raced at the track. my buddy with the vette handed him his a$$!! he ran a 12.5...stock..yes a friggin 12.5 and my buddy with the mach 1 ran a 14.0@ 99mph... thats not a B.S....thats the reason i went to the track to see that race..

w/ a head start for the mach1, you woulda got walked if you are stock. A mach one is nothing to sneeze at. The average driver in a bone stock mach1 will manage mid 13's, geat drivers hit low 13's.....right on pace w/ the average LS1. So, your 6 1/2 car lenths seems a little far fetched, unless your talking about match box car lenths, even then w/ a head start your still full-o-poop.

 

if your buddy ran 14.0 in a mach 1. auto or not he needs to be put ina honda civic or a sunfire or a cavalier. because he was not born to race.
