2.57865 carlengths.
All cars are different. A completely bone stock car could put a hurtin on a car with headers and a lid.

Wrong forum, AND too many variables. Both 6-speeds? Auto's? Convertables? Tires? Traction problems? Drivers?

No way to guess, or to even say for sure that the LT/ORY car would even win.

Sorry, I'm new to this forum. Both cars are 6spd, not verts. As far as drivers, both good. A small traction problem w/ the car w/ lt's. The reason I ask is because I raced another guy earlier. Beat him by about 2 cars before he let off. My car doesn't hook as good as it use to in 1st gear. My clutch is too going out. I was just making sure nothing was wrong with my car? The other day I beat a c5 w/ muffler and cai? I won by about 3-3 1/2 cars.. does this sound right? Thanks!

Let's say that both cars have no traction problems. What would the results typically be?

i would say that there would be a car and a half but who knows until you run em

EDIT: and it depends on the year of them, an 02 would pull from a 98 or 99 typically

the 02 got a better intake and a weaker cam, the total difference is around 10 rwhp or so from the #'s I have seen. anyone care to set me straight if Im wrong, dont know for sure. All i know is my friends stock 98 A4 Z turned times that make most 01-02 A4 guys cry. 13.3@105 w/the paper filter and around 100K miles on the car (i think he may have had chokemasters on it, but thats it, not that those would matter.)

It would also depend on how far they raced in order to give a car length difference. If you are bench racing, at least bench race to a known standard like the 1/4 mile. I believe the rule of thumb is 10 hp equates to a tenth of a second and 1 mph in the 1/4 given equal conditions.

Just because your new to the forum doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to read and comprehend forum titles.

If you dont own a bench, is it still bench racing? I use my dryer for my car stuff, does that mean I Dryer race?

Isn't taht what people say right before they turn gay?

To the original poster..

You'll notice a difference in most likely the upper speeds,..like third gear or soo,..you'd, or the modded car, would pull slightly but, noticably.
