No Id say 400 rwhp is about average...You got lots of guys like me with only a cam/air intake/stock-mild heads pushin 360-390 rwhp..
Then you got alo of full bolt on guy with cam/good heads and full bolt ons pushin 420-450..
So 400 rwhp is probally a good avergae. now if your also counting all our 450-700 rwhp FI guys then I can see what your saying...
But yea on those boards even 300 rwhp is pretty good LOL. 400 rwhp is simply amazing and 500 rwhp is Godly.But still not bad for that lil engine I guess.
Then you got alo of full bolt on guy with cam/good heads and full bolt ons pushin 420-450..
So 400 rwhp is probally a good avergae. now if your also counting all our 450-700 rwhp FI guys then I can see what your saying...

Plus I don't think that they went from a stop. If it was from a roll I think the Z could hang pretty well. I saw a video of Trmin8tor on here racing a new Z06 and he was beating him I think until the vette sprayed him. Bartenz has a Supercharged Z that was dead even with trmin8tor and maybe losing by a little bit. So all i'm saying is that we know a turbo is better than a SC its possible he did pull up top on the guy. Hopefully theres a video and we'll all know soon.

My friend mike, has a G35, with 625rwhp. Twin turbo kit, built motor. Never raced him from a roll but, from a dig, him on 18 inch drag radials, me on goodyear F1's and on motor....I wreck him. I don't even see him. We did not get a full pass though, so, who knows.

it is possible if the guy just got the z06, and wasn't shifting it right or at the right rpm. a car that traps 120 could catch a granny shifted 125 trapping car.

I read the thread on 350z. The guys story seems like he is being honest. And his friends vouche for integrity. Maybe this Z06 driver just cant bang the gears. I mean come on. Most people who own the cars think having them entitles them to automaticly be faster. If the guy wasnt running the Vett all the way up, it very well could be as stated. Does the win make sense on paper? NOPE. But who knows. The guy is willing to put up or shut up. SO we will see.

OMG you people are hilarious. Why can't you face the fact that it got pulled. Turbo cars pull totally different than NA cars do. There could have been different reasons as to why it could have happen(weather,sea level,etc). The vette is only 200lbs lighter, which equates to roughly .2 tenths of a sec. And the reason as to why the Vette started to pull past 160, is there is a govenor on the 350z at 158. Now if there where to have it removed, it would have been a different story. We have exceeded 180+ in our cars with the govenor removed.
If anyone doesn't believe how our cars can pull, give me a C6 with bolt ons or a Z06(stock) so we can run. I would race a modified one, but my injectors are maxed out, I'm already at 93% duty cycle.
I'm going out tonight and will be out there by Tomball, so give me a buzz let me know what you would like to do. I could meet ya'll if you want also.

Oh how I wish I lived in Htown (where ever that is) I cant find anyone local in a import that races. I agree with above statement. But the over looked fact is the Z06 should put down around 460 to the wheels with the 200lb weight advantage. I wont call BS on the 350z story. I just think the driver of the Z06 cant drive.

I think most Z owners will say the Z06 should win, but why do you guys not beleive that a guy can suck at driving the worlds fastest car?

Unless this took place in the ******* Rockies, there is no way a turbo car with 400rwhp is going to pull a lighter car with 40-50 more rwhp. No way, no how, no sir.
