This thread started with people actually having fun talking to each other, even a productive discussion trying to figure if it was an LT1 or LS1. People talking about meeting up for dyno days with LS1 and other types of cars too. Good stuff.

I'm just curious how this is my car?? I can only vouch for what my car can do, and since I never posted a vid of my car it's obviously NOT my STi. I told you my car can take a stock LS1 or possibly a mildly modded one. SO, if you want to see my car take on an LS1 we can always make a vid. my boy has a decently modded LS1 that will beat me in the 1/4, but we can always see how close it'll be. And from a roll like you said, I souldn't have a chance right??? well, we can do that too, and you'll see I'm no slouch. After that I'll expect some respect. Obviously not from you since you're a ***, but from other doubters. Maybe then you'll stop crying. All this should be comming soon since our tracks here in New England open next weekend.

Wesman from a roll a stock STi wont hang with a stock LS1, no arguements there. However, if you ever make it to the track you will see that a person that knows how to properly launch an sti (or evo) can cut very similar 1/4 times to that of a stock ls1. The STI's/EVO's 60 foot with be better than an LS1 while the STI's/EVO's trap speed will be lower than the LS1. Also, MASTi isnt bragging, just posting the results of a race he had with either an lt1 or ls1 powered car. In addition, that like saying if someone posts that their extensivley modded LS1 beat a stock c5 z06/c6/c6 z06/viper/03-04 cobra etc, that they are pathetic since their heavily modded ls1 beat a stock car. You still havent posted a pic of your "ls1" either....

Yea, I agree with that. Because of the AWD launch, the STi can post a very close 1/4 mile ET to a stock LS1. However, the trap speeds about going to have a 5-8MPH difference, with the LS1 being faster.

The race that troll (aka MaSTI) posted was from a roll though. I don't know the extent of MaSTi's mods, but its stupid to race a stock LS1 with a heavily modded STI and then come on the F-Body forums and brag about it as if anyone gives a ****. Its one thing to race something like a C6 with a mildly modded LS2, hang with him, and post the story. Its another thing completely to race a stock Camaro with a heavily modded, high boost STi, beat him, and then come on the LS1 forums to brag about it
