Why would anyone who is serious about racing "want" to display thier times? That is the fun, fear and suspense of RACING! Thats what keeps us all buying more and more crap, when we pull up to the next light.....you ask yourself " have I bought enough to beat this guy?"

Well, not a hard guess judging by the power level of his car. I'd say 11's on drag radials,....10's on better radials.
...and I doubt thats all thats there.

Really?... How bad? Like, nitrous bad? I saw a few GTO's with spray on Friday night at towers. One had ATLEAST heads and cam, from what I can see, then heard. Several had radials(dr).

That sounds about right for a GTO, maybe mildly modded.
Simple mods on that little car seem to make power really easily. Again, i've raced some really fast ones.
Kenne bells are badass.....but, if you can find a single turbo setup for your ride...man, that would be the ****.
There is a black one around here, thats almost complete. It's a single turbo car.

OKay....we got some traction put on today...in the form of some new shoes for the Z car. Hopefully I'll post up some results after tonight or tomorrow night....wheneve we can pick some races!

I actually tied an 03 last summer before the LS6 and ported TB from 40 to the end of my 4th gear. The Cobra had an fipk 2, Borla Stingers, and no cats along with a ~150lb passenger, and I was solo. The Cobra had just put down 412rwhp the week before with 12k miles. The only thing I can think of that would explain me hanging with him like that is that we tried going from a 20 roll with him spinning badly, and the next run he missed 3rd. Heat soak may have been robbing him of some power during that 3rd and legitimate run.
Either way, the guy was impressed that I did as well as I did.
