Default Close encounter with an Integra

I raced an Integra owned by someone I work with yesterday. It was pretty close, at least on the second race. 1st race he gave me the break because he thought I had a 6 cylinder engine according to him. I launched at 2000 RPM, came off the brake with no wheelspin at all and put several cars on him right off the line. Once he stopped spinning he pretty much matched my speed and we stayed like that the rest of the 1/4 mile. Next race I decided to give him the break to make things more fair. He discovered I had a V8 after the first race so he wanted an advantage. I broke pretty close with him staying about a fender ahead through low gear. He pulled to about a half car advantage through 2nd but I started reeling him back in in Drive and we crossed the finish line dead even. Neither one of us were willing to back off so we stayed in the throttle at least another 1/4 mile with me slowly inching ahead of him at the end of a half mile or about 100 MPH. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. I was in my 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 250,00 miles on it. Hey, that was the closest race I've had in years .

I was wondering, "wtf does he have in that teg?!" Then I read that it took half a mile to get up to 100, haha.
