98 Auto C5 Vs 98 C5 Moded 6 Speed I Have A 98 C5 Auto With 273 Gears And Its Coupe This Guy I Ran Has An Frc With Cheapy Intake I Belive The Cone One And Cheapy Exhaust I Have Borla Stingers With No Cats X Pipe And Kooks Long Tube Headers 1 7/8 With Vara Ram Vr B2 Intake And Z06 Manifold I Had No Tires What So Ever We Did It From A 25 Mph Roll And 35 Mph I Dident Hook For Nothing He Pulled Atleast 5 Cars On Me He Hooked Real Bad Dident Even Spin The Guy Has Been Running His Mouth For A While Now Dont Wanna Run Him Till I Get More Mods Or Just Better Tires Whats The Diffrence Between Stick And Auto Im Thinking Of Going With A Cam Gears And Tc But Dont Know Whcih One To Go With What Do You Think The Out Come Would Be If I Had Good Tires Would It Be Diffrent Or Just My Gears Really Suck

Holy Crap I Think You Should Get An After Market Torque Converter It Should Help With 6 Speeds Don't Go Lower Than A 3600 You Should Then Proceed To Get Some Tires At Least Some Nittos Stall Converters Are One Of The Single Best Mods For Automatics Don't Worry About The Gears Nice Death Welcome To the Forum

But to answer your question:
If your spining an auto at a 35 punch with your mods you need tires badly. As in yours must be bald and ready to pop bad. So for safety reasons alone get some tires. I think thats a huge part of what happened. It hard to make up ground when you get such a disadvantage like that. Your 2.73 would be better from a higher punch AFAIK. 3.73s would be seruiously mean on your car with a stall on a low punch.

I agree. The period key is your friend. I guess I was trying to read it all in one breath waiting for the period lol. A 5 car length win is pretty good. Tires and a stall. Do the race from a dig or from a roll 50+.

What Do You Mean By Period Key Is My Freind I Really Wanna Show This Guy Whats Up He Is So Cocky Its Not Even Funny I Really Do Wanan Go With A Cam 4 Sure But What Should I Get First It Is A Daily Driver And Thanks For The Wlecome In This Forum You Guys Are Awsome Man Do You Think That Stall Would Really Help I Was Thinking Of Going With 3 42 Gears What Cam Would You Guys Go With For A Daily Driver With Full Exhaust Rolling Car And Good Track I Would Love To Be At 400 Or Atleast 380 At The Wheels

sorry guys dident mean to do that. but back to my story i ran a freind of mine who has a frc with cheapy intake and cheapy exhaust and he pulled on me like 5 cars.i was really upset cause i have full exhaust intake and z06 manifold and no tires lol.what cam gears and tc should i put on my daily driver .whats the diffrence between stick and auto

hey v series do you go out to okechobee races cause ive seen a white frc out there that has ur plate and 4 sure has a h/c package if its you .than i know you ran a freind of mine in a red c6 and you parked him bad if thats you man ur c5 is hella fast what cam do you got

That would be me man. Didn't that guy sell his car right after that? ANd it wasn't brand new at the time?...
At the time I raced him, my car was CAM only. 592/599 231/237 @ 112. 921 Springs. 7.40 pushrods. and alot of other various bolt-ons, and alot of love.
Did I see you out there in your C5?
