Default Kitty Kat Needs to be Skinned!!

What up fellas? Well my glory was recently stolen and i dont like it. I was the fastest amongst my friends when i got my 99 TA but then one of my boys got a 06 roush stage 1. How fast are they and what the hell do i do to beat him? Also what about if he goes stage 3? I heard that they only go about 390 hp with the stage 3 supercharger. Ideas, suggestions, welcomed.

lol, I dont believe you have to do anything to beat a roush, except put your foot to the floor.

So what do you have now?
(depending where you're at now)There are a slew of mods that can get you to be faster than a Roush, up to and including new engine, N2O, turbo/supercharger, etc etc. All it takes is money
As has been said many times, speed costs money. How fast do you want to go?

Im all stock well almost except flowmasters already on when bought it. So im thinking i should be at about 305 hp. Just ordered a ram air hood. I was thinking about headers just not sure to go long or short and about borla exaust, and TC. Its an A4 so i was looking at diffrent options on how to blow about a grand-a grand and a half.

Headers, do the long tubes (unless you're in California), then a TC (don't forget the trans cooler)as for the rest of the exhaust a cut out is a good budget exhaust mod, or get the hooker cat back (the flow on the flowmaster cat back isn't very good)
Visit www.ls1sounds.com to get an idea of what the various systems sound like
BTW I hope you aren't expecting a hp increase from the ram air hood, it's really just for looks (if you're getting it for looks that's fine)

Am I like the only guy with 3" straight pipes from the cats back? I didn't see anything on that sounds site that mentioned straight pipes with no mufflers...

I would be putting on some sticky tires, like GS-D3s, or some drag radial, so I could make sure I was getting everything out of the car already, before I improved its straight-line performance at all. Basically, if you discover that you're only an ok driver, then you could not only be going quite a bit faster now, you could prevent yourself from wasting money by increasing your power without being able to control it.

Like if a teenager was bought an '06 Z06. Hahaha...sad.

I'm not saying you're a good driver or bad, you could be John Force for all I know, I'm just making a general statement since I figure you're smart enough to at least listen to what I have to say if you came on here in the first place.

5 hours later, im guessing you lost.
And you also said that subframe connectors are a waste of money. Please try to at least contribute something positive, or useful, or both. Try?

If you win, you get the money, and you get the respect. Remember not to granny shift, double clutch it like you should. Nevermind the bullocks...

Ok i'm done.

Sorry guys long weekend!! Well Took him and took him pretty good. We raced twice the first time my take off was a little lame since Ive been busy at school and hadent been to the track in a while and i still took him by 3/4 of a car. Like every sore loser witha 35k car he made up some BS excuse. I made sure the 2nd time I warmed up my tires good and took of beautifully the second time and i took him by about 2 cars. He was pist specially when i told him those 100 bucks would go into a coldair intake sponsored by his 2006 Roush.

Good kill, thanks for letting us know what happened. Those Roush's are so hyped up. Ask him if he wants to run again after you install your new intake, lol. BTW what was his excuse for losing, brand new clutch slipping? Losers always have an excuse.
