has any one actually seen a mach1 run 13.1 or a cobra run 12.7 stock? I have 3 friends one with a Gt mustang one with a mach one and one with a cobra 03. They are really stuck on the argument that the stock cobra will out run an C5 zo6. I beileve and know for a fact that it wont happen. I seen this dudes Mach one get pulled by a turbo integra. I just want to know the scoop on this two cars and what they really run.

I've never seen a Mach1 run a 13.1 stock. Not saying its not possible, ive heard of it happening, just never seen it in person.
No doubt that both the Mach and Cobra are badass cars, but I think with an average driver, they arent quite that fast stock.
Only way to really find out is to take them all to the track.

Hey man trust me...the stock Cobra's a really fast....and very capable of runing a 12.7. You need to ask Unit213 he's the local Mod and Cobra guru!

I have seen 12.6 from a bonestock 03 cobra. Well, actually I drove it to the 12.6.
As to the MACH, I watched a bonestock Mach 1 PLUS SLICKS run a 12.8 at atco. I think there is video floating around of it (it was at a track rental I attended).

i have seen many 03-4 cobra's and a few mach at the track and i have never seen any of them run close to the 12's. all were mid 13's or worse. i've even seen a few of them in the 14's. i've even seen new 06 c6 vetts in the lo-13's at the track and one went like 12.9's or something. i guess alot of people can't drive.

a stock 03 isnt going to out run a C5 Zo6. you need some new friends.

also seen A auto mach1 run a 13.4
Never seen a stock cobra in the 12's much less 12.7
but most people can't drive, and never get everything out of there car.

good friend's 03 went 12.4X at US41 on a tire plus great track conditions/weather after icing it down and pushing it to the line. I know it's technically not stock but it's still a great pass. I think he might have had a pro 5.0 in there too. Saw an 03 Mach clip a 13.2X, and i was able to get my old cat-back 98Z to a 13.1X on some all season radials. All passes were done with the driver mod.

Ive never seen it. I have no trouble beleiving it. You get a great groove that just had a big DR lay down some hot rubber, which the ambient is like 50 and the wind is in your favor, not hard to believe at all.
