Default Scared C5 owner sneaks a win!

Come on guys!

I pull out of a parking lot and see a stock C5 whiz by, so I turn on the street and catch up to him at the light. We have a nice straight road to the next light and I wanted him to rev on me. No go. He just sits there. Ok, so I don't launch and I just leave slowly at the light. I normally drive up to 3rd gear and he's about 3 cars behind me. I'm watching him the whole time in my side mirror and then I see it. Tail whips out and smoke from his tailpipe. Damn it! I just floored it in 3rd gear (bad choice for me) and this C5 catches up and walks 2 cars on me before I stop his pull. He immediately slows down to like 30mph. Arrgh!! I get to the next light and roll my window down. "Let's go" I tell him. "I'm making a left turn here.." He gives me a thumbs up and I leave very very aggrevated.

If you are going to run, then run.. don't try and sneak in a kill!!

oh, that's really annoying. It's like those that weave in and out of traffic too. There's many of those types.

He was probably in his 30s.

I mean, he must've thought he would lose if he started from the light - and he was probably correct!

AWD POWER?? Isn't that like an oxymoron lol??

Out of all possible drivetrain configurations, AWD systems lose the most power through the drivetrain.

Whats done to the Evo? Pretty lame move on his part, but I can't say that I really blame him for not wanting to go from a dig. At least he wasn't stupid.
