Default Porsche Carrera/TT run

So tonight after coming home from a friends I encounter to Middle Easter fellas in a Porsche Carrera/TT. Reason for the backslash is that I am not sure what I was. Under the influence of a couple of brewskies and we only got one run in after he turned is where my confusion starts. It might have been N/A but I am pretty sure it was TT cause it sounded just straight up wretched. Anyways through my first gear we were tied but after that he took the lead and ended up about 5-6 cars ahead of me. All in all a fantastic run and I must say his car was a bad mama jama. As we get to a stop light however the BS starts. His passenger, little **** turd, looks at me and says:" Thats a fast car....too bad it was too slow...." So the anger sharks started swimming in my head.....I didnt say anything back aside of "damn thats a fast bitch..." as he turned. In retrospect it was a good race and props to him, but I still feel like I beat him. You know why? Cause I spent 20K including my car and mods to get to this point where I am positive he spent over 100k to where he is at. Just venting, thanks for listening!!

Some people just don't know how to win gracefully.

Oops, read it wrong. I don't know if it was my reading or his writing, probably a combination of both.

At any rate, the non turbo Carrera is not as fast as most people think.

i used to race one all of the time (he was a regular at the "spot"). awd tt 996 911.

me being n/a it was always very close, from a dig of course. if i got a good enough launch i'd hold him off till past the 1/4 mile then he'd pass me. if i didn't launch perfect he'd catch me at around 90mph or so. then he broke his trans racing me (probably powershifting trying to catch me ) and it had to get towed home. i never saw him again

good death, they are nasty on the highway no doubt.

Man the price thing gets old.

His car is still a PORSCHE, not a CHEVY. It's like people who say they feel better when they lose to a Ferrari because they spent less money on their cars.

Good death though.

Amen!!! A kill is a kill, and a death is a death, regardless of the price of the cars involved.

Yeah the skin is all black and tight and shiny, must have a hi fever, a high rpm feverous rush to redline that is. I like Porsches. I like all cars, even fast rice. Yes, Im very secure in my manhood.

edit-yeah its sick, it's so sick it has AIDS (Automobile Is Disturbingly Sick) and is in the final stages, past retro-viral medicinal help and now starting to develop lesions in the skin from the high rate of speed. It doesn't look good.

You win some and you lose some; that's the way it is.

*ALMOST* more fun to lose and watch a super fast car go (I have lots of experience with this)

If you are going to lose, lose to a Porsche!
