what mph did you start out in the vid?

 

The first race the WS6 wouldn't get next to me all the way. He wanted to go from his sweet spot. So, we went from a little over 30mph with me behind. (I can't go much faster than a little over 30 in first, since I'm an auto) Believe it or not, he actually hit it before me. The second video was about a 20mph roll. You can hear me get into second and then at about 45-50ish the WS6 chirps the tires in second. (I don't know if anyone heard that)

I actually have another video of us going more topend, but the camera guy did a bad job taping it, which is why I didn't post it. The WS6 got the hit by about a car and a half. I passed him in 3rd...I can post that video to, but like I said it sucks...

I'll tell you what. Ever since I put the dynomax muffler on the car and ditched the flowmaster, it seems to have a lot more top end for some reason. The car is also quiet...

 

You'd be surpised I raced an LS1 from 55-1?? and beat it twice by a car length or so.

Yeah, i did. Well, I kind of had to in those two situations. I don't up shift through every gear though. I just make sure the car is in the right gear to begin with, so it doesn't have to downshift and I get a late hit. If I'm at the track, I always just keep it in OD.

What I do is, keep it in "1" and as soon as I floor it, I put it back in OD and let the car shift itself.

 

Of course you don't, you have an LS1. Although, there is nothing not to believe... It's on video and I told you my mods. You can hear my car in the video as well. It's not crazy loud or anything...

What is done to your car? Have you ran at the track?

By the way, it's nice that you bash an LT1 owner. I'm glad to know there are Camaro guys like you, that only like the LS1. Why don't you treat all Camaro owners with respect. LS1 or 305 TBI. If someone owns a Camaro and beats a car, I say good kill and move on. I won't roll my eyes...Give me a break...

Bolt on LT1's can run low 13's high 12's. What is so hard to believe? Geez, come on people.

I think we would be a good run. I saw your other post when you said you took out an LS1 from a 55 roll. Was that a 6 speed as well?

 

Both of us were auto's. We would be a hell of a run could you imagine how sick that would be.

 

I don't have a camaro! and with your alledged mods you'd be mid 13's at best.To pull like that on a car that runs mid to low 13's stock you have to be well into the12's.Just admit your on the juice.

I ran at the track a while ago when I still had the flowmaster. I ran an 8.4 in the 1/8 with a not so good 60'. I was thinking with a low 1.9 60', I could run an 8.3. With a 1.8 60' maybe even a little better...Although, I need to go back again because with this dynomax muffler the car seems to keep the topend a little more.

Seriously man, stop being an a$$ to other camaro or trans am owners. It's all the same thing. LS1 to LS1, LT1 to LT1.

Why don't you ask some of the other bolt on LT1 people what they have ran? I know there is someone on here that has run a 12.9 with the same mods as me...So, obviously you don't pay attention to LT1's very much. It's pretty clear you have no idea what your talking about.

Nope I haven't however my friend runs consistent 13.5's at the track and I raced him twice and beat him pretty damn bad both times so therefore I gotta be running in the real high 12 to low 13 range so that's right around where your at.

 

you need to do alittle more research. Bolt on LT-1 can go low 13's high 12's....

Kills me how some guys think LT1s were some junk motor puting out 190hp......
