Stone cold stock my car put down 286rwhp and 314rwtq. With the addition of nothing more than a Magnaflow o/r x-pipe, it went to 298rwhp and 327rwtq. They were all on a factory tune, so I know that with a decent hp tune, it would have been over the 300rwhp mark, and there's no "factory freak" factor involved.

edit: same as above!

[QUOTE=BLAKE 01 WS6] Holy ****, 17hp for 3 grand? Damn and I thought I was crazy for spending 1000 bucks for 15rwhp for a Fast 90/90.... Thanks I feel better now.

Also, if you look beyond the peak-to-peak rwhp gain, you'll see roughly a 43 rwhp increase @ 6750 when the operator stopped the run. It was likely even greater than that - the stock intake dyno (which was heading down rapidly) was stopped earlier than the FR500 dyno (which was still steadily producing the same rwhp).
This is why I always get my dyno files in electronic form - so that I can overlay them at my leisure (with WinPEP) to see exactly where I gained or lost rwhp/rwtq through the whole power/torque curves & also to correct them using the same method - SAE/STD/Actual...

Blake 01 WS6,
When we going to HRP so you can run my stock mach 1?
All I have is offroad h-pipe and a K&N with an atmospheric enhancement device... I'll even leave the spare tire/jack in the trunk and run a full tank of gas which should put my race weight around 3630lbs.
I have $1800 bucks in mods on my car, let's see if I can get booted from the track.
I can't do Fridays anymore due to new job, but Sunday night is good, plus we can see the times on the big board.

You can spray me man, I don't care who wins or loses. I am just going out there to have fun. I usually run my best when I feel outgunned anyways.
The only tuning I am doing these days is jet sizes lol. Who needs to buy headers when 4 more jet sizes will get me the same hp gain?

true dat. hp is hp no matter how you get it! like i said before i love a good drivers race, so the dope will be for the last run, plus i'm not gonna drive all the way out there to get kicked off right away. i'll be close enough to that on motor. i just want to bring home a 10 sec slip so i can acomplish my goal with the car, and stop modding it!

I'd like to hit the 11's without camming the motor. In the Texas heat this summer it MIGHT be possible. The cams will go in this summer so I'll have to make that 11 second pass really soon. With the heat I assume I'm already down about .20 on ET. We'll see what the intake was worth I guess...

DSG's must be freaks. My bone stock to the filter mach 1 went 13.2xx@106.xx
Only raced 3 ls1's when I had my mach. One was 2 ws-6's from a dig, had them by about a car.
Another was a Z28 from a 40-90 roll. I put about a car and a half on him. Granted he had 2 passengers. I had none.
I was looking into buying another mach 1, but in my area in decent shape they are going for about 20k. I bought my new mach one for 23,500. Figured I would just buy a cobra if I was going to spend that much.
Then amongst my search, I found my 02 T/A M6, bought it for $15,500. And glad I bought another f-body.

The 1/4 mile is quite a bit more than just power/weight. In addition to the obvious - traction - there is also gearing. A 6800-7000 rpm range will allow more gearing than a 5800-6000 rpm range (assuming the owner wants to take advantage of it), which is why you will see 320 RWHP 4Vs running about the same ET as 350 RWHP LS1s (given similar weights and conditions).
