Default my vette vs 04 cobra

we went from a first gear roll I had no passenger and the cobra had 1 so I'm sure the cobra could have done better. anyway we line up im around 4500 rpm 3rd honk and I pull insantly throughout 4th gear I had him by around 5 cars goin into 4th
we talked after and the guy said he did 12.4@119 with boltons and a 2.76 he was a pretty cool guy.

my guess is at least 425 rwhp maybe as much as 455. Doubt any more then 455. I could be wrong. I bet you make full use of that power off the line. How's that stock rear end holding up?? I was afraid of breaking mine, so I opted to upgrade to the stg III dynotech rear with all the bells and whistles.

I was riding passenger in the cobra and this was not the only time they raced. The first two races the cobra was in the lead before both cars had to brake because of other cars. These both were from about a 2nd gear 40 roll. But the next race was from 1st and the vette pulled hard! The cobra couldnt catch traction in 1st so the vette won that one. The next time the cobra left in 2nd gear and im pretty sure the vette was in 1st but the vette also won that one. Either way both are fast but i think the last two races were won by the vette because of better driving. I was happy to see them run......Both cars are BEAST!

Its funny you ask about a camera because the guy that drives the cobra usually has a camera with him but of course he didnt have it that nite. I'll make sure he has it next time. I think it all comes down to the drivers because the power of the cars seem to be about the same.

^No....the power between the two cars is right to make them even. the Cobra wouldn't win with the same power as the C5.

The cobra doesnt really have much done. He doesnt have full bolt ons. He jus has intake, exhaust and a pulley. With a mail order tune. So with the C5's mods it shouldnt have been hard to beat the cobra.

That would mean a loss for the Cobra. He'll need at least 50rwhp more than
the 'vette to win.

Mine's on the South Beach diet. It's slimming down ever so slowly...hope
