Even if he is on race gas, I dont know if the stock twins can produce enough power to hang with a 150 shot. Would be close though

GTO's are heavy and I have seen stock twins do 450+ with cam gears. Lets just say if the supra was on race gas he would need every bit of that 150 shot to stay ahead.

I bet with all those mods the GTO is putting on, with the wet shot, 500+ rwhp should be attainable. From what I've seen guys with the LS2 doing in the GTO, damn near 400rwhp with the bolt ons seems attainable. Tack a 150 shot on and on paper, the GTO should get the nod. Bottom line, anything can happen

lol supras are slow. my buddies 04 Mach1 5-speed w/ programmer, intake, and x-pipe beat a 96tt supra that had FMIC, intake, turboback, bov, and boost controller. pulled prolly 2 car lengths @ 120mph from a dig. dont worry. go waste his ***

Was it an auto or 6 spd?

FEARSM,

All 96tt Supra's were autos,due to the fact Toyota had emission compliance issues with first year ( 96 ) OBD II systems for 6 spd's. So no 6 spd's were available for US market, but then again I could be talking out of my *** if the guy did a 6spd swap

You can beat one w/ BPU. If he's got a larger turbo, you're gonna be snarfed. Then again just race him from a dig. Supras are notoriously hard to get outta the hole.

I know a few years ago I personally raced a friends bone stock anthracite 93 TT Supra, auto. 13.9 @ 109mph it ran. Bone stock. The 60 foot was in the mid 2.x range. My Talon was running mid 13's then at 95-97mph. He flew by me right at the finish line.

His car BPU managed an 11.1 @ 118ish mph with a built tranny.

Basically, what I'm saying is that there was something wrong with that TT that raced the Mach1.

LOL..I have owned several Supras. I know that. I was trying to see if HE knew what he was talking about or making the mods up. He seemed to know alot about the car. Just seeing if it was legit.

There ALWAYS is whenever a MKIV loses, right?? We ALL know that they are TOTALLY INVINCIBLE, from pure stock right up to 2500 rwhp with a single the size of a beach ball.

Are you brain dead? Did you not gather from my post that I did beat a stock TT with my mid 13 sec Talon? WTF said they were invincible? I am just making an assessment from facts presented. Would you swallow a story where a FWD SRT4 murdered a stalled nitroused auto LS1 from a dig? You would be skeptical, and so am I, about his "story."
Roll all you want. That car (he listed is not beating a BPU++ TT) if his story is indeed factual. If it did, there was something certainly wrong with the TT because in an ideal scenario, it (the TT) makes more power. There: Broke it down for even the 4th graders. We all know it's the internet where everyone makes 10,000whp and never lose a race.

I beat a Mach 1 5-speed with exhaust in my bolt-ons Z28 running on 7 cylinders. Mach 1s are turds. I'd be willing to believe your story if the supra was bone stock, otherwise it reeks of blue, oval shaped ****.

Why so f'in defensive?? Even though I quoted you, I was not talking directly nor ONLY to you. I was busting on those who really do think that every/anything with a Supra badge on it cannot ever lose. I actually do like turboed, AWD DSMs (much more than Supras), and would even own one if I could get past it being made by a Nippon nameplate company (sorry). And yes, I DO know where it is screwed together. You even seem very cool (and quite knowledgeable) for an "importee".
Maybe you are right for questioning if something was not right with the GTE. But that is also part of the problem here, all of those +++++++++++++s after the BPU on these cars. Has anyone ever made an "official" listing of what each one means (that is totally agreed upon by all)?? Why not just go ahead and list every one of their mods instead (like all other cars do, except for the few "stage" listed turbo cars)? Would it take 3 pages or what?
