well my friend brent has an srt-4 he is always modding it out and always talkin ****....so last night i decide to put him in his place!!!!! he says he wants to go from a stop so im like hell yeah lets do it.....anyway we do some burnouts and get it going...we ht a red light and go he frekin pounds me into the ground....we went to about 90 mph and he had me by like 5 car lenths....im like holy **** man so we get back and im talking to him and he ends up having 469 whp and the dyno to prove it!!!!hahahah im never racing a neon again unless i know what it has

Damn that sucks. Sounds like he has one quick neon tho. If done right, they can be pretty quick. I lost to a heavily modded one on the highway about 2 weeks ago, I hate losing to neons!

Nice run.. Looks like u put him in his place tho SRT-4s are not hard to make fast and it doesnt cost that much.... to get that 469 hp it might take like 7 grand.... Another 4 or 5 in the suspenison and it will probaly run 11's all day maybe high 10s... I had lots of plans for mine but i hated the fwd... hopefully ur friend isnt running on stock internals... If he is he is only a few races from throwing a piston... Crank is rated to hold like 500+ HP i think someone said could hold 800 hp.. but the other stuff only holds 400... But ya im surprised he ran ya from a stop... that shows he has some suspension work... and with probaly over 500 lbs tq.... He probaly jumped the 5 cars by 2nd gear lol....

hahahah yeah that car had 5 lenths by 60mph, it kinda stalled after that and then i was reelin him in easy hahahah yeah right, it was a full out slaughter!!!! oh well it was a bad *** car even for a neon much respect for those things if they are done clean and fast! anyway you live and you learn that even though your fast there is always somone faster thats why you need no2 hahahahha i will hit the nitro here next week and well run them again, hopefully ill kinda hang this time

that sucks, i raced one last night i was just sure was going to smoke me as he came up making all kinds of noise through the blow off valves or whatever, but i ended up getting him so it was all good. however i had the same feeling as you when i got smoked by a sleeper 86 honda civic 4door brown piece of **** with a turbo bigger than the engine and nitrous on top of that, i dont know the speeds or numbers of the car. but lets just say he put about 4 carlengths on me through 1 of my gears. i was like
