That was not even close man. The passenger taken out of the M6 wouldnt have made much of a difference. He pulled a solid 5+ cars on him.

Reading this I felt compelled to reply. I am in NO way defending the guy that posted this thread as apparently he doesn't have a clue about these two very different cars. But apparently you don't either. First a European car that puts out over 100 HP per liter N/A can hardly be described as a ricer. It was built to be the ultimate grand touring car and comes very close to that goal. The Vette was built to be the ultimate track car again it comes very close to being that and bang for the buck is undisputed as the cars that can outrun it cost a LOT more. These cars a as similar as apples and oranges. The Vette is a Sports car the BMW a Grand Touring car. Two different approaches to building fast cars with two very different missions. Let the Ricer comments stick to cars and people that deserve this title, 25psi does. BTW I have owned several F-Bodies and BMW's and 1 Vette all are great cars for their target audiance and performance of all of them exceeds most people's expectations.

By no means am I trying to defend the BMW. This is not what I am trying to advocate to you guys! What my version of the video is, a Grand Touring car weighing in at 2 tons, needs not an extra passenger when already being handicaped. Take it as you will, I say let the camara man be in the Vette next time

Wont matter...and how is it handicapped? weight? Thats BMW's fault for making it so heavy...and if your going to play ricer games then the vette is handicapped because it has 2 less cylinders...

In that case I have a Bugatti Veyron that wasn't quite fast enough so I jacked the boost up to 80 PSI and now it does the quarter in 4.02 seconds at 390 MPH (traction was a problem ).

I'd hate to have to pay what you do for gas over there. I lived in Germany for 9 years and luckily I could get gas on base. Its ridiculous what Europeans have to pay to drive their cars. Insurance isn't much better. We Americans are spoiled when it comes to those items.

Lol, yeah it sucks. Prices have dropped a bit on fuel we where paying around £1/litre, think it works out at over $7 per US gallon.

Thinks aren't all bad though.

I wish I still had my camaro as my buddy has a 350z meeting again this weekend and Id love tog o there and just make a bunch of vids whooping on bolt on 350z's and the 350z with the twin turbo kit that pushes like 5 psi...like I dont get his posts, I dont mind seeing two fast cars race and if the faster car happens to be a 350z, mr2, evo, etc then props to them, but he loves just posting vids of any lsx car getting beat or having a close race and saying "lsx" cars arent that fast, torque doesnt matter, weight doesnt matter, you have an advantage you have 2 more cyliners, imports handel better than all domestics, chevys suck, roll racing is real racing, the world is flat, gravity doesnt exist, etc...

As you know, 3132lb on the C6 Z06, and a little over 3900lb for the M6. The passenger would have to weigh quite a bit to stay even or gain on the Z06. The M6 is a lot of *** to haul as it is. My point: swapping the passenger out/into the Z06 will make very little difference.

Yes, because the M6 is such a dog. Not. The Z06 is an incredibly fast car, but when comparing it to cars in its league (vs. in its price range and below, IE most cars), it's not just going to "disappear into the distance". I got a better idea, how about we put ten people in the Z06 just to make it even. And then, we'll axe off two cylinders on the M6's V10. WTF?

Obviously these guys are hung over that extra passenger thing. If they actually cared about a fair race vs. trying to find a way to beat the Z06, they'd suggest something else. Like a chaser car. I'm sure those rich guys who can afford fine German engineering () have a few M6s laying around.
