Well this is my first kill in the Trans Am... i've only had it a month or so and loving every minute of it... a guy a work has an 03' mustang GT(5spd), and he has been hating on me ever since i got the car... so we lined them up and went from a 20 mph kick 2 times... each time by 100 i had a few good lengths on him!! after we were done he was like "what do you expect you have a 5.7 and i have a 4.6!"

 

nice kill, it always nice to beat a coworkers who talk ****, especially in a mustang.

Nice kill budd! i know a lot of clueless people that say stuiff like "If i get an instake il close the gap by 1 car" LOL , i dunno but some people who stupidly modify thyre cars i feel sorry for! thats why i thank ls1tech for being here and feeding me all this speed information that i need! or else i would be adding flowmaster by now on my z.

he said with about 900 dollars(for an h-pipe and catback) he will be able to hang... he is all bent out of shape now b/c everyone is asking him about what happned.. haha.. what makes it worse is that it's his girlfriends car, and he really owns a 94' accord that he claims is fast(f22 with header, intake, and exhaust)

 

 

I have come to realize that Mustang guys who have NEVER owned or ridden in an LS1 are so full of crap. Good kill.

 

I have 2 rather new friends, who they are friends with each other...One guy has a 01-02 T/A and the other guy just bought a 2003 Mustang GT...AUTO. I asked what happened when they raced..they are both basically stock. The Mustang guy said..and I quote " yea, we raced, it was like a kick in the nuts!" Both guys are cool and we will put some nitrous on the GT but everybody should not be surprised and then get mad. Shop around and take test drives before you buy anything! The guy with the Mustang just got rid of his CAVALIER....thats why the GT felt like a beast I guess. Not a bad car, just not an LS1.

 

HEY, I've never owned or ridden in an LS1 ! I've beaten a few though!!!

Been beat by a few as well, so it's all good!

I didnt mean this to ANY single Mustang owner, just the ones who are not familiar with LS1's but yet talk trash. Then they are all upset when they are beat down. No offense to you in any way. My wife had an 01 GT auto a year ago and I installed bolt ons and a 100 wet shot, but I still wouldnt be talking crap about LS1's, thats all. Now My Cobra....different story..J/K. You get what Im saying though Im sure, some people just make all guys who drive Fords look like iddiots.

 

I know what you mean, those types are usually the S197 drivers lol. J/K!!! I know my car was slow when I got it............wait a minute........it's still slow !
