That's pretty interesting, a friend of mine has a turbo'd camaro that used to make around 850whp on pumpgas (faster now), he had a stock rear end and used to tell us how him not going auto yet saved his rear for so long cause if he cought traction it would snap like a twig, lol. Just an offtopic side note for fun you guy's can call bs if you want.
edit: Actually this is the video of a race with the car I'm talking about.

That setup of his is MONEY! lol (trying to bring it back on topic). There are probably cheaper way's to go about it but they just may not have that badass factor at the level that his car has.

I think this is just the wrong forum to throw money numbers at. People here care about "bang for the buck" and in that sense your car doesn't rank way up there. That 350z looks nice, I've driven a supercharged one (415 rwhp?) it was ok, sounded really nice. But I just spent $4000 to rebuild an engine myself with heads/cam and bolt ons,
Granted you needed to spend money on a lot of things other than your engine. But for comparison sake...
bang for the buck .... hp per dollar
I have 0.1125 hp per dollar
You have 0.02917 hp per dollar
I think that equation sums up what this forum is saying to you
hp/liter = ricer math
hp/dollar = hotrod engineering

We there is more drive train shock with a 6speed, auto comes out of the whole a bit smooth with less shock.
We never sprayed out of the whole, only a few time but the car would 1.7 on motor.

Why does the 350 that Fadi raced run 113 traps and the one in this vid runs 130+ traps with nearly identical rwhp #'s. Would Fadi or should I say the Z06 pull a stock viper like that.

Hp/dollar really isn't an effectice equation. The more hp you have, the more money it takes to add hp (when you're not talking nitrous, at least).
If you have 300hp, going to 400hp isn't too expensive. Now if you have a blown 572 making 1200hp, going to 1200-1300 is going to be an expensive idea.

3rd excuse: *cuts camera as camaro actually gets on it and starts to fly by)
Idk if the camaro was just toying with him the 3rd race and was letting him get a nice jump to make the race more interesting or if the camaro just spun ridiculously. One the camaro started gaining on him (either got on it or stopped spinning), he gained FAST.. like several car lengths in a matter of seconds until they were almot even and the camera shut off.

purchasing the car is not part of the equation. If you wanna do that you can just compare your car to the enzo. This is about how much money you or anyone puts into a car to get xxx rwhp.
And ya, I know it gets more expensive as the hp numbers rise, I'm sure I would stil have to put in some good changed to hit mid 600's but not $20,000.
I'm not saying I dont respect your cars. I haven't seen videos but you have quite the list in your sig. Your just a different breed of tuner than lots of guys here.

The Camaro didnt get traction and was peddling the car, its a money race so im sure they didnt want loose cash. That camaro had no traction!

Screw it, there is no doubt about the power of the 350Z from the debated video if you go back and look at Fadi's runs against allngn_C5 or however it's spelled in a 470 rwhp FRC (ie light weight) C5 and the H/C supercharged SS making 500+ rwhp. The 350Z in the hottly debated video did a significantly better job keeping up w/ the C6 Z06 than the SS did, and about the same as allngn_C5 did in most of the runs. That 350Z was clearly making something near the claimed 520 rwhp at least if you ask me, no way it would have hung as well as it did if it was way down on power like some have claimed...
Heres the vids just so it's all in one place for back to back viewing.
SS run:

Allngn_C5 first run, there is one or more others floating around:

Debated 350Z run:

I don't see how you can argue that the 350Z wasn't making at least around 500rwhp at the time of this video seeing as how well it did compared to the other above cars hitting known power levels.

Naa he spun real bad on the third race, soon as he gained traction he came right back up to em like he was standing still, lol. There was a big difference in power to be fair that camaro really was making a lot more power, but everyone saw through the way the mustang owner tried to make it look like he was remotely keeping up in that video. This race was done last year in freezing weather so traction was an issue, they had to really ease out of the whole for them not to spin all over the place the first race I think it was.
