My 2005 C6 Z51 was 349 RWHP stock with about 400 miles.
My 2006 C6 Z06 was 457 RWHP stock with about 500 miles on it.

disclaimer..................no cars were hurt in the process of attaining the actual RWHP

Well you can figure about 20% from manufacture suggested hp to rwhp to get you in the ballpark.

405*20%=81hp loss
405-81=325

those are very rough number as well...

I raced a 2005 C6 auto and my mods are in my sig. Last time on dyno I put down 347rwhp. We went from a roll at about 20mph and by the time we got to 100 I was an easy 2 cars out in front of him.

I raced a 2005 Z51 as well, this guy was really funny as I could tell he was reiterating what the dealer had told him. None the less we got on it and it was alot closer than the C6 auto race was, that one ended with me being about .5 to 1 car out in front, but I am sure with a good driver in the Z51 it would of have been alot closer.

Most will not see the better areo's of the C6 as I doubt most are going to be willing to take their cars over 100mph in a street race to see. I think some of my edge was also that I am a stripper Formula. No t-tops, no leather, no ground effects that the T/A's have. My car weighed something like right at 3400 pounds with right at 3/4 of a tank of gas in it.

My next car will be a vette if anything ever happens to my Formula that is outside of my control.

My brother has run a 12.3 @ 113xx in his A6 '06 C6. Now that was in near perfect air at Atco, BUT it WAS PURE, BONE stock, right down to the paper filter and stock runflats. Take from that what you will, but they can be quite fast stock even with torque management still in the computer.
But you're talking about the street and we all know anything can happen there, so I would just go ahead and race him if you get the chance.

'05 C6s with A4 are about 325-335 rwhp (mine was 333); C6 with A6 is 330-340 range; 6spds are 340-350. Different dynos, etc., but this is the generally reported range from a ton of people on the Corvette Forum. The drivetrain eats it up pretty good. Stock cars are all over the place with tuning (torque management), and I've seen low 13s to low 12s same tracks and conditions. With a good tune, mid-low 12s is the norm. On the street, it's definitely a guess as to what a C6 can do.

What alot of C6 owners don't realize is they think if they tap twice on the traction button (located on the center console) it disingages the traction control and they are ready to race. NOT!!! The active handling still remains !!! You press and hold the button for aproximatly 8 to 10 seconds and then BOTH traction control and active handling are disengaged. The reason you see ppl driving their C6's like sh*t is because they don't know this.

Very true most people do not read owners manuals these days.

There are a lot of bad drivers in this world. And they seem to populate the streets without prejudice for vehicle type.
LOL! quoted for truth

If you're trapping 109 like in your post, then you might hang from a roll until triple digit speeds, but he should start to pull up top. If you're trapping 113 like in your sig, then you may get him depending on his specs.

BUT, make sure these Vettes you're seeing aren't 2008 LS3 Vettes. If they are, I would imagine you'll be seeing taillights either way. Which track time is accurate from your sig or post?

The LS2 vettes are a good race if they have a good driver. The only real time I raced a C6 LS2 was at the track and the guy couldn't drive for crap. He ran a 14.4 compared to my 12.66 in my old bird.

When it turns nice I am going to race my buddy in his M6 C6. He's a exhaust and CAI car but he may have LT's on it with a tune and ported and polished intake and TB by then.

Just thought I would add this. This is regarding GM High Tech Performance's 2006 C6, which they bought with the only options being paint and wheels (no Z51 package):

"Even without the Z51's sticker rubber and lower gear ratios, our bone-stock C6 blasted a 12.53 at 113.5 mph baseline at our local venue (Englishtown, N.J.). That's with a 1.99 60-ft and no powershifting, so this sucker is really putting some power to the ground-346 rwhp and 341 rwtq to be exact, as tested on East Coast Supercharging's Dynojet 248. "

Damn impressive, if you ask me. And more than enough to take the OP even if his sig time is the accurate one. Dyno numbers aren't too shabby, either.

I believe they did a catback and a few other minor bolt-ons, no long tubes or anything, and they trapped 115-116.

True, but that was before November of 2006 when I actually chiseled that down to a 12.21@115.45 with a best mph of 115.91, still bone stock.
Have since gone a little quicker with some minor mods.

I guess you don't own one, right? AH does nothing to impede drag racing. TC and torque management does, but in stock form, you can turn off TC. AH only keeps you from going sideways and actually is a plus when left on at the track because no one wants to pop the wall . I've had over 100 passes at track in my C6 A6, TC off only, and I guess in your assumption, my 11.4's are sh*t. The biggest henderances to drag racing in the C6 are two things:1) torque management, but can now be tuned out by a professional tuner and 2) tire pressure sensors and lack of sticky stock size tires. If an aftermarket tire manufacturer would make a dr in 19inch size to fit my stock wheels, I'd be hitting 10's within the month.
