Whats Your oppinion on the C6 Ls2 Corvette???
well i hope i got my vettes right ..lol any way in my town i have seen a few of the new corvettes with the ls2 and was always curious as how do they run .both i have seen were auto and they seem to always rev at me and stare me down when im just cruising around. I seen one guy in a marron convertable kick down on it about 10-15mph and is it me or what but it didnt seem to impressive to me.
sounded great but just didnt seem to have the go that my car has .i know this car should walk me bad but whats your experiances with them being stock to a midly bolt on ls1 ..sorry if this is not a kill or death. just curious as to how they run compared to a bolt on ls1 and i didnt know were else to post this if its in the wrong forum please move it to the correct one thanks..
Also my car Runs a 12.9xx @109.8

I've played with a couple on the freeway and they couldnt get away from me. I was right on their ***. I think they both were autos. I am very lightly modded but my car runs really strong.
They are great cars

Depends on what you run across really...torque management (implemented by the computer) from the factory really holds these back (at least it did the 2005s...not sure if that is still the case). With torque management, there were a few that were putting down stock LS1 F-body track numbers. With torque management disabled, those numbers tended to jump up to the stock LS6 ZO6 times (where the car really should be based on its factory power rating and weight).
As with anything on the street, it comes down to the driver. There are a lot of bad drivers in this world. And they seem to populate the streets without prejudice for vehicle type. I've seen bad drivers in imports, vettes, you name it. Kinda reminds me of the dude that decided to fly by me in his new 2005-ish GTO (LS2), and ground the **** out of 3rd gear

A decent driver makes the c6 an easy 12.5 second car, with either the manual or the new 6 speed auto. Not to mention over 100mph there is a severe aero advantage.
Very good performer out of the box. One weakness is the runflat tires that come stock.

a c6 will beat you manual or auto. you will get him off the line with your gears. and after that you really dont have any hope. unless he goofs up his launch. i would assume a c6 aut puts down probly 340-360ish to the wheels? but its the weight difference they weigh probly what 200 lbs less? + aerodynamics something like 3100 lbs vs an ta weighing 3400
