South Florida has ALOT of various different cars to watch out for. Everything CAN be fast here. The cars that I would say are a challenge, are the modded NEW Z06's, modded vipers, which everyone down here has one with ATLEAST a blower on them, modded C5's, not alot but, there are several. There is from what I hear some turbo'd ford GTs out there. There are several 800-1200 hp supras running around..... several 700awhp porsche's out and about. Alot of fast DIG cobra's, solid axle cars,....some very light, 500-700+whp civic's running around as well......not to mention some 800awhp evo's. As well as a few, dig LS1 f-bodies.

Soo....it really depends on the night...and whats out. My car is or was out powered by most of those cars, with me at 3100lbs, and around 600rwhp on spray. Soo.... everyone was competition for me. AFter my new motor, I plan on making big motor power,....and the spray will be there in full force as well.

I think the car out there to beat is the C6 Z06 right now. Badass car. There is one down here trapping 140++mph on spray and other mods.....so....we've got our work cut out for us for sure.

 

over here in lexington, sc we have a pretty nice mix. i'm ashamed to say, though, that when i ride through town most of it is rice or decent imports with a bunch of visual effects, lol. the guys that have domestics rarely bring their cars out and only race at the track, but that's because nothing else around here is worthy of their sub-10 second passes.

 

Where is the I live in New Mexico and it is filled to the brim with white trash and the brown rice special brand of ricers?

It it is like a competition between the moronic white guys on base (Kirtland AFB) trying to out-moron the New Mexico locals with their hand painted (I am talking like with a brush) mix and match (or just one piece) of body kits?

It's freakin White Rice versus Brown Rice out here and all of it makes me puke. Plus none of them can drive.

 

I have to honestly say there is not alot in my area that can take me on the street. Now don't get me wrong, there several 8 second "street legal" cars out there that would hand it to me. More than likely they would show up to race being trailered. We all have those in our areas. But as far as a car that is truely a street car daily driven........I know of nothing out there right now. vLook forward to finding it though!LOL

It sucks that you lost your old car, but it's good you were able to get back up and runing (even if it isn't a Camaro). Your new ride just sounds like it's a monster!

 

Same here I live 20 min. from seattle, really havent found a good race, I did almost race a vr4 tt 3000gt modded pretty sick. Too much traffic. Summer is coming and I hope people around here with nice cars dont wanna drive because of the weather, as for me its my DD so I have no choice. Bunch of rice, one guy is building a Twin Turbo rx7. Best race i had was against a heavily modded srt4,..... but that was in Orange county California ..... I won....

Yeah I know, on sunny days I see lots and lots of sports cars..... This is gonna be my first summer with my ss, so im pretty excited.

 

theres a few mustangs and a bad *** zo6 but ive not seen any rice in the area thats worth wasting fuel on

if you want races. go outside. Fort campbell, Kentucky. and drive on 41A. when you live at the most deployed unit in the world their tends to be 10,000 some odd guy who spend their 20 grand they just save don modding their cars lol. though i think about 18 of that 20 grand goes to beer and girls. cause majority of the guys are still slow lol. but their are also some wicked fast cars in that area. their was a evo running 6.2@111+ in the 1/8 local track their. no sure what his 1/4 time was he was pretty much the fastest awd car. and since the clarksville speedway is crappy for traction he dominated it most of the time.

i got beat the worst by a TT 350z and a Heavily modded 300zx that raped me bad.

 

there are a bunch of really fast stangs in your area, watch out!
