competition alright lets here what the competition is out there. what kind of cars are you up against in your area? ricers, old school, fords, ls1. lets get some feed back here is there a certain car that shines at being the ls1's rival.
havent run into many domestics in seattle.. best "race" ive had was against a 350hp turbo 240sx or some ****? sylvia model or some damn thing dont really know/care. needless to say i kinda walked him.. (this was when i was 395rwhp w/ my cam & exhaust), and got beat by a SLK55 AMG when i was bolt ons only... good race actually
I dont race that often, but if the opportunity comes along, 
Im game. Ive lost to a Single Turbo Supra, a few C5 Z06s, Viper (not sure what year, think it was a 500hp one) and a few KB/Whipple Cobras. I hang with or have beaten pretty much everything else ive encountered. I personally consider my car pretty slow, from what a hear and read on the internet. But ive only ran into a few of those beasts in real life, thank god lol.

And if you go alittle south to Miami theres even more, or even 45 minutes away from Orlando. Theres alot of fast cars around here. And not all of them are domestics
You need another choice between the "some domestics can hang" and the "ricers kick my ***" lol. Where are all the domestics I beat suppose to vote, I'm sure they can still beat most of the imports, just not the modified domestics.
Well here in the small town of Waco, Tx. there isn't that much compeition. All of the faster cars are in our f-body/corvette car club. There is a 400+ph civic hatchback that supose to be very fast but i haven't came across him yet. There are a couple of fox body stangs that are ok. Theres probably more out there but if they are they don't come out and play. The rest of the people are no competion.

Where i live i come across everything from ricers to exotics. I've raced an sti and a few porsches's. I've also played with a gallardo. The exotics are all over this place. I need some more mods but i'm doing very well for what i have.

There are some fast everythings around here... There's the Z28s/TAs/Mustangs are are just nuts, and there are the sleeper imports. My friend's 440rwhp gutted foxbody got pulled by a Civic hatchback... and there are more like it running around.

I haven't been beaten on the street yet but not much street racing here in Iowa. the only real race iv had on the street is with a 405 horse ZO6 and i got him by a car or so. there is a lot of mustangs around here most all are v6 cars. mostly it some kid driving his dads diesel truck wanting to play.

i never run into anything. there's nothing to race out my way. i doubt i'm the "baddest ****" since no one with a low 13 second car is a "bad ****" IMO, but i'm definitely faster than 99 out of 100 cars on the road. it's sad. the only things that try to race me are dodge ram pickups. what a waste of gas. i've gotten one decent race against a turboed eclipse, and i slaughtered him every time. boooorrring

this one guy lives right next door to me, but he's cool. i always hear him rompin' on it, pulling out of his driveway. he has a Cobra with 450rwhp. it's just as loud as my setup (pretty loud). i've messed with him a few times (in my '78 TA), back when he had an older mustang, but he upgraded to a newer one and modified it even more... . i also live in an area with many porsches, bmws and corvettes (and the occasional Ferrari 
) so i'm just about at the bottom of the food chain...
oh yea... every day at work, i park next to a 2002 WS6 A4 and sometimes follow a Firehawk on my way to work in the mornings... (very few japanese imports in my area).
