Come one peope, are you all that naive to think a 430 runs 13's and traps at 115. Even the most unskilled drivers can trap that. The slowest I have seen a stock 430 go was 122mph.

There is no way a GTO with boltons will take a 430. Sorry! Especially if he wasnt spraying.

anyways nice kill....the thing is if he was playing in his big ferrari..thats his blues because if your car is behind..your losing...at least thats how it goes around here...usually if you play, you at least make sure your car is ahead of the competition...imo..not trying to stir up sh!@#$...its just a race and this time the ferrari was the loser...

Sorry but in most cases even if you did lose the race, at the end of the day your still driving home in a ferrari so your probably not a loser.

Right but this is the "kill section" and not the "well the more expensive car lost but it doesnt matter because he is still driving a more expensive car section". Ferrari's are badass and im sure everyone here would love to own one but thats not the point of this section of the forum, its to tell kill stories. I agree though I wouldnt say the guy is a loser, but he did lose the race.

P.S. not just a bolt on ls2 gto but a cammed, bolt-on ls2 GTO...makes a big difference and with a good sized cam I can see a GTO trapping 115 mph. F430 should certainly be capable of 120 mph trap speeds but hey its a street race and not everyone can row gears so looks like the better driver and not the faster car won this race.

Hard to believe this on the high-end. If this was a quarter race, then I'd give it an ok, maybe. But a F430's top end... Eh. Probably not. Either way, he could have been a bad driver. I drove a newer F430 last year and it was very comparable with my buddies cammed/procharged GTO on the top.

as far as the trap speeds,
I've trapped 109+ when the car was stock (on my longer ET runs)

I will have new track numbers as soon as the track opens (wether permitting, feb 4th)

If i was a millionaire i would buy 40 f-bodys of all years, and maybe just one ferrari enzo, but thats it at the end of the day your driving the car that you love and grew up with and to me thats an f-body!

Maybe he was short shifting or didn't downshift? Just wanted to hear and see the GTO run? You never know unless you hear it screaming.

Can you get 10mph in the traps (about 100hp, right?) from Cams and exhaust? Doubtful.

Those cars probably put down 400rwp in a 31xx package its crazy. The old 360 CS put down 34x-35x there fast.
