LoL I will keep thinking that until i do get walked on or beatin. I do have a big ego, but around here The stangs r slow. Im not saying IM THE FASTEST lol this all started over stock for stock. SLOW lol I do not list MY other car. simply because i havnt ran it at the track. but, let me tell you its not slow to your standards lol. It will be on here VERY soon.

damn...I just read about 3 pages of this b.s. I'm not talkin shyt, but here's my story. First of all, I've been beaten by only one mustang. 2004 Cobra-badass ride. Good kill. That being said-Driving south on the 5 one day on my way to San Diego. Yellow Mach pulls up beside me in the fast lane. I had my windows down, as did he. He gave me the universal grin and knod and I reciprocated. We were both running about 60 mph. He takes off. I'm screaming at myself while I'm downshifting because he got the jump and I knew it might be over. 75-80-85-90..reeling him in. 95-100-Dead even all the way to 120. That being said, I don't know what his mods were. My mods were-toasted clutch, bad knock sensor, malfunctioning p.o.s. Granatelli MAF that has been mailed back, and a drivers side o2 sensor that was bad, all that happened that week other than the clutch. I know guys, the car was in bad shape but it was all I had to drive at the time. Mach man gave me a thumbs up and I just knodded and grinned. My mods at the time were the MTI lid, K&N filter, the p.o.s. MAF, deleted cats from stock Ypipe, still had stock manifolds, 80series flowcrapper.

 

9's are slow to my standards...unfortunately.

I don't know man. Something's wrong with me. My car isn't close to 9's
as it sits, but I've driven & been in plenty that have gone 9's...just
doesn't feel fast. My car feels like a roach.

You're right, my VMax went a 9.34 with a 120 lb rider on it. However, if you're talking stock pony cars, the LS1 cars are faster than all but the '03-'04 Cobras, and faster than any of the n/a cars.
