Don't flame me becuase I will probly never look at this thread again. Just wanted to point out that l98's are torque monsters. I would like to see a 305 tbi car beat an lt1.
They had around 340 crank torque or so, depending on the year. It just came early, but was not really more powerful than the LT1, just felt that way because it hit earlier. Just like people say the LT1 'hit' harder but the LS1 still makes more torque.
edit: that was in reference to the L98 motor
I see the tbi 305 in '92 had a whopping 255 crank torque and 170 chp lol, was only worse in previous years

Yes i know my cars stock stats... You just look at thirdgen and its all there. But I'll say it again, If there were people on here from where i'm from. I will offer up my *** to get "kicked".
