120mph with just bolt-on's? That sounds kinda sketchy.

I made (2) additional passes that same day, all with about the same MPH.

Cecil is a track known for producing a little higher than average MPH though, no matter what the make/model car.
My own experiences + those of other drag racers seem to support that fact in general.

FWIW, I ran an 11.46 @ 118.33 MPH about a month later at Atco...

thats still very impressive for a bolt'on car, LS1 or Mach1. guess you are just a hell of a driver!

Nice mph. My buddy ran a few 118s in his bolt-on T/A before he slapped a cam in it. We run at atco alot when the weather is nice. If you see a black T/A with no spoiler that's him. I'm usually up there in my blue C5 or my black WS6 with controlled insanity on the back window.

How did you manage to hang with a C6 Z06??????????????????????????

They trap like 125-128 on street tires.

Was it from a 30 mph roll.....and the vette was in 5th gear?

Nice run in the video by the way!

Little vid to back up the C6 Z06....it was vs. a 600+ rwhp whipple 03' Cobra

I DOUBT YOU CAN BEAT A NEW Z06. MAYBE YOU OUGHT TO RACE SOMEONE WHO KNOWS HOW TO DRIVE THEIR CAR.

So you were born and lived in Texas? Sounds like you hated it, so you moved to "New California" with all the other hippies. I bet you attend anti-Bush and anti-War in Iraq rallies in Santa Fe and hug Cindy Sheehan's decomposing carcass don't you?

Nah, the Air Force pulled me out. First to Colorado to work on *CLASSIFIED* and now I am stuck in New Mexico because of my wife's enlistment.

There are NO race chances in this state. So much for me running my 2002 Z06 versus a modified Mach 1.

I'll keep my eye out both of you when I'm at Atco this Spring...

Both C6 ZO6's I ran were at the drag strip.

One ran an 11.62 & the other an 11.67.

I beat them both to the stripe, but they did have a higher mph.

Doubt as much as you like, but answer this:

"What's the quickest a completely stock C6 ZO6 has ever run?"

If you strip a car down far enough you'd be surprised what they can do on stock motor.....Bone on ls1s have trapped better than 125mph...

Fastest ALL STOCK Z06 time I've seen or heard of is 11.30s... and then there was Ranger who pulled the 10.85 @ 129.50 in his, with just DRs

That's what I thought.

The two I ran were the fastest I've personally seen run, but I'd heard that Ranger had gone 11.3's on stock rubber.

Both the ZO6's I ran were on the factory tires, and I'm not sure why so many are doubting that I was able to outrun them...
