You are correct, it would have to be direct port so I would have had to change my setup which is why I never sprayed that much. It would have had to be tuned as well.

I may only really post up in the street racing forum and give my opinion but, your really sounding like you have NO idea wtf a 50 trim SRT4 can do. in the hands of a poor driver there nothing to worry about but in the hands of a good driver, they are a force to be reckoned with.

This is the greatest thread ever. I can't even describe how dumb you sound necro. I used to own an SRT and am very aware of what they can do. For a fwd 4-banger, they are impressive. It doesn't matter if your car ran ******* 300 mph through the traps because you don't have it. And you're OLD 408 sounds like it WAS badass. 484 is kinda low for a h/c 408 (Mine makes 469 on stock heads and intake), but it doesn't matter if that car MADE 800 rwhp because you don't own it. Stop making a fool of yourself. Actually don't, it's quite entertaining.

Ummmm........... my SS went mid 11s on motor and 10.2 on a 175 shot. All with a 2.0 or higher short time, still had the 10 bolt in and wanted to be able to drive home.



The vid was to show an SRT4 on pump gas beating the **** out of not only a car that traps mid 120s but a 408 ci Vette that Im sure traps up there as well. Could you imagine that thing on race gas and full boost?


As a matter of fact there is a member that posts here sometimes that has an SRT4 that makes 650 whp.

stock cube ls1's with a cam and tire have gone low 10's im pretty sure of.

sounds like you didnt have a very smart setup to me.
IMO should have spent money in suspension/drivetrain. why would you dump THOUSANDS of $ in a engine build and leave a 300$ rear end in the car? especially if you wanted to spray a 400 shot?

maybe your one of those guys who like to hang on nuts and spout off 'ive got a forged stroker engine'. yet cant put any decent times down in ratio with your $ spent. waste of $ IMO
