Default Highway Kill

Well, I normally don't do this, because the 4L60E blows horrible ***** from a roll, but I gave in tonight for once. The culprit was a black 60-trim Neon SRT-4, which has garnished a rather impressive reputation around here. I've known the guy since his car was stock, but hadn't ran into him since he swapped the turbos, until tonight. As usual, he wanted the standard Neon 40 roll, so I obliged. He got a huge jump on me, due to my car being too damn loud and me not being able to hear honks, followed by a quick miss of a gear for him, though he was quick to find said gear and put that right foot all the way down again. I wasn't watching the speedo, so I really can't tell you what speed I passed him, but I looked down shortly after to see the ol needle a lil past 130, and decided enough was enough, as I'd put a car on him and was holding it nicely. Pulled over and had a chat with him in town, turned out to be a real nice guy. I didn't get any numbers on the Neon, but it made a good bit of power I'm told. Anyhow, just wanted to share my ROLL kill, lol, seeing I don't get very many of em'. Mods in sig, of course, race done on motor, no nitrous.

If they don't get the roll they get all pissy.

At least from my experience.

its pisses me off somtimes how annoying they get when they don't get the roll they want, Just run what ya brung from a dig...but since ita a highway race, rolls are exceptable, good hunting and nice kill. Always nice when you get to pull over and talk about your cars

Thanks for the compliments guys. =) I was pretty surprised myself, as I hate racing from a roll cause the ol 4L60E just ain't up to the task, but it pleased me last night. Now we got a dig race lined up soon, and I'll be sure to get that one on vid.

Ah, alright. Well everyone I've talked to has told me it's a 60-trim. Quick car, no doubt, seein' how my car's not meant to go from a roll....But I'm not sure it'll be quite fair from a dig with me and him. But he owes me a dig run anyway, cause I gave him his roll. Cool guy, and quick car.

We got on folsom and i wanted to run from a dig because the concrete....so we did....he spun bad through 1st-3rd and i hooked good and won pretty easy....but it was a diffrent driver so doesnt count

I had an SRT4 owner race me from a 30mph roll... he wanted to me have it in second gear. I said I was going from first and he kept telling me second... **** that. I spun all of first and part of second, and I still beat him.

Domestics racing from 40 is like FWD imports racing from zero. I believe if one guy demands a roll race, the other guy should pick the speed. Damn cool of him to offer up a dig race too, even knowing he's probably going to get murderized. 0-30 is fine, 50 is fine, and 70 is fine for me, I can't make my POS spin a tire if I wanted to.

I think I may have ran the black one before it had the turbo upgrade, it was quite a while back though.
