Default WS6 vs Redfire Cobra

I witnessed a friendly race between a silver WS6 and a 04'redfire Cobra the WS6 had the Cobra by a car or so! the Cobra had bassani long tubes,Xpipe and catback with upgraded pulley,410 gears, and a heat exchanger(don't know what brand) and he claimed to have made 488rwhp on a conservative tune? The WS6 was on motor only and was "LS1 stock" so he claims!

Sounds fishy. A 315hp car beating a possibly 500hp car.

488rwhp is really stretching it unless the blower was ported.
That's just not going to happen, even with 25* of timing, race gas,
etc. I don't care what a dyno says. Numbers can be skewed easily.
I've been there, done that.

It's very easy for a non-ported Eaton Cobra to put down 460rwhp
one run and 425rwhp or so the next due to horrible inefficiencies
with that blower. I've run 11.30's then 12.20's the next pass.
I consider that a "partially modded" Cobra. I believe almost any
loss given those mods.

If the cobra was pullied than the Ws6 was lying. A stock ls1 can't beat a pullied cobra. Unless the cobra missed a gear.

So we're talking about a H/C nitrous car then.

I witnessed Aliens taking all the Honda's in the world then dropping the back off here with a fart tip lower euro lights, and LED windshield washer lights.

Hey, it could happen right?

Agree with everyone else, that someone is lying, or the guy with the Cobra is the worst driver in history. Either that or his car is a total pos.
