Default Teach you to flash me with the hazards ricer!

Haha I just went to grab a late night dinner at Del Taco, on the way back some clown in like a LS 300 Lexus or something is trying to race me. I spanked him from a roll bad, then just down the street a little we catch a light together. I ease out super slow so I don't spin at all, give him about a half car then lay into it and pull a couple cars on him easily by 60mph.
We are now approaching where the street merges into a single lane up a steep curvy hill, so I just let off and let him go ahead of me cause he wants to go so fast. Well he gets about 500ft ahead and what do I see? You guessed it the hazards lol! I laugh, and floor it, passing him by in a matter of seconds where theres a short two lane section for cars turning onto the road. My turn off is coming up in about a 1/4 mile, I'm desperately trying to get the ridiculously gay Camaro hazard button to work, BAM I get them going right before I turn and he flies by me Woot .

Yes, our hazard switch is so gay. Why couldn't they have just put it on the dash or on top of the steering column like every other car has. And they make it out of cheap plastic that feels like it's going to break everytime you use it.

See the hazard are in indicator that you car is slow. In a quick car it's far to scary to take your hands off the wheel/shifter to push a button.

CN:Hazards = slow.

Default Man

I did that to my buddy w/ a wrx cause we hate ricers. I did it just to be funny and the freaking switch got stuck. It took me like 3 miles to finally fix it!! Talk about embarassing, I will never touch the button again!

Haha I almost did crash trying to mess with it, was jerking all over the road probably going over 100mph in a 45. First time I've ever been given the hazards and first time I've done it too, was the first thing that came to mind after this pathetic loser had the nerve to flash em well after the race was over. Next time I'll just tap the brakes a couple times like usual, didn't think it was necessary for this guy after the lengths I put on him, seriously it took him at least 10 seconds to pass me after I let off the throttle.
Bah I need to stop this **** anyway, thought I'd matured a little in the last couple years after all the accidents and traffic misdemeanors but I'm almost back to driving like a total dumbass again, at least I know for damn sure not to drink and race anymore.

yea the same thing happened to me when I first bought the car, at least I was in a parking lot though. Thought I'd never get them turned off.

Its kinda weird cause the hazzard switch is the same exact one that was used on my '74 Cutlass, and pretty much every other GM since god knows when!

I was looking at a 2002 WS6 last summer and after taking it for a test drive the 1st thing that came to mind was "Huh this reminds me of my IROC.". I guess GM believes "If is isn't broke, don't fix it.".

I'm actually surprised they don't still use the foot hi/lo beam dimmer switch! Which I think would make a good (sneaky) nitrous switch or something.

Yep they're all the same 1973 up pretty much. Everycolumn part in an f-body will fit almost every vehicle gm ever made until 1995-96

The cheap plastic hazard button and the turn signal are the two things I hate most about the car. Every time you turn it seems like it's going to break off.
