Actually someone in the States sent a reply to it. Read about all of it here:

LOL I liked the American rebuttal better. It does a much better job at making fun of America than the UK one did.
It is compulsory to sue someone once a year - be inventive.
Hunting with packs of dogs will be banned, you will instead go hunting with some six packs of beer, two coonhounds, and enough firearms to arm a small militia.
If you wanted it to be pronounced Eddinburra you would have spelt it that way in the first place.

If it was my money, I'd get the Cobra and do a live-axle swap. I've driven an S197 GT, and while it has a WAY better chassis than the fox/fox-4 cars, I just don't like the feel of it. I would take MY car over a stock S197. Now, a bolt-on S197 GT with a few suspension mods, I'll take that over my car anyday

And the Rover name may well have been purchased by Ford recently to protect Land Rover, but ALL the Rovers built and tested have not been under Ford ownership.

If America is meant to be the land of the free and of free speach then why should someone run the risk of speaking freely?

I wouldn't say the GT500 is overpriced, considering it costs the same as a non-SC Saleen S281. It is too heavy for my tastes though, but probably not for most of it's owners.

Saleens are all over priced GTs with body kits. Here's my experience with GT500s: They run mid/low 13s even with drag radials at around 110 mph stock at SIR (3075ft elevation). My skittle is almost that fast. You have to mod them to make them fast. If I'm going to have a modded car, and I liked that body style, I would buy a GT and add a turbo. It would be faster too.
Me too, because then it would be worth it.

It is a fun car with a name on it, like a ZL-1 Camaro or a Blackbird. Not worth the ridiculous price for it (when you really get down to it) but you get a cool name and a piece of history.
Hell even the ZR-1 Corvette is in NO WAY worth the price they charged for it but the LT-5 is a pretty cool engine.
Overall you are paying for a piece of history, which is apparently very expensive.

Do you realise that JC actually had a Ford GT??
And that Hampster has a Dodge Charger 440 R/T and a Mustang GT390??
They simply like cars and review them. The only thing they do is forget the target audience and the commonality of modifiing cars in America.
It's not the norm in the UK to buy a car and mod it, you simply just buy a faster car in the first place. This is not so in the States.
Then there's the audience like when they tested the s197 Stang because it's fast they seem to think that a Lotus Exige or Porsche are an alternative car forgetting that they cost 2 or 3 times more.
So no they don't always dog American cars, just too many of you guys are far too sensative.

I lived in England for 3 1/2 years and they mod cars like crazy....checkout all the magazines @ TESCO for modding cars like Vauxhalls, Hondas, Ford Mondeos, christ there is some serious modding going on. Hell go to a car show in England and you will see Jordan and many other hot chicks along with some cars modded to hell! Now muscle cars (American) no modding really over there. Hell look how expensive gas is, the last thing you can afford to do is spend your money modding an American V8!!! RAF Lakenheath but lived in Newmarket.
